Are we all working together or what? Tallahar and Barret don't seem to be on the best of terms. Do we have any plans or anything that poor Cole can be made aware of?

Aye. Well despite what Tallahar says, he did tell Barret that he gave him his undying loyalty. I figure that Callen just stands above Barret, in Tall's eyes. As for Cole, well, as soon as the trial is over Barret can find him a marriage. Is there anything in particular you wanted to achieve or someone you thought it'd be best politically to marry?
The ironic part about this whole situation is that despite whatever the outcome, I can't realistically see the Reach falling power. In fact, despite a great drop in Barret's reputation, I think House Tyrell will be relatively untouched by this. If Barret -is- executed, that will do even worse for the throne, as you'll probably see many Reachlords rebelling (on their own accord). I figure Callen will try to find a suitable punishment that isn't too grand to convince me into rebelling, though I have no current ambitions of doing so.

Well Cole's main ambition at the moment is - like most young guys in Westeros - glory, so he'll just be looking to get himself stuck into any situation that he's needed in. As to a marriage, well I don't know, you'd probably know what would serve House Tyrell the best in that regard. Does Randal Lannister have any daughters? That might be appropriate.
But does House Tyrell have any long term goals? Do we have our eyes set on the Iron Throne, or are we taking it easy for now? I mean, I know even thinking about the Iron Throne is ambitious, but those who dream big...
My understanding is that the North is gonna be a very unsettled place for awhile, they won't be happy being ruled by a Bolton and then a bastard. Maybe there's some opportunity there.
The reason i started this thread anyway was because I was thinking of the Tyrells in the book. I would say that by the end of AFfC, House Tyrell is in the best position of any house, and I believe they owe it mostly to the fact that they all work together towards a coherent goal under the Queen of Thorns. The Lannisters were similarly in a very good position when they worked together, but as soon as they started turning on each other things started going bad for them.

Understood. Barret's longterm goal was to essentially unite the (known) world under one empire. Barret has little interest in ruling Westeros, he'd rather control it without being the figurehead. Given that I betrothed the current Lord Bolton to a Tyrell cousin, I'd say we want to further our relationships with him.
Basically whether I win or lose the duel, Royce or Blackwood are our enemies. I wouldn't advise overtly attacking them, and anything other than subtle remarks or actions, I would also advise against. Given that Lannister betrayed me, I figure we're on the worst terms with him.
So our best bet is to stay in league with Bolton, and nurture our relationship with him. Also, it'd be another good idea to grow in the eyes of House Dondarrion (who rule the Stormlands) and Prince Andry.

If you're up for it Cole, you could always spy on House Royce (or Blackwood or Lannister) for us.

Ah, so dreaming very big then. So is it the Free Cities you're working on then?
Oh sounds good, any suggestions of how to start?

I suggest that you just present yourself to him. He's pretty clever so I wouldn't suck up to him or anything, just interact with him casually.
As for the Free Cities, I am working on them at the moment.

It's shown that Tallahar is keeping his distance from Barret at the moment but thats because I'm playing it as Tallahar is waiting for the best time to help Barret the most, But then Barret called for Trail by Combat so Tallahar could help very little from there.
Just about my comment it the Plot Summary I really liked what you did with the kidnapping and that but I just don't want people to know that I want them to think I don't like what you did, Sorry Barret.

So is Rhodri still the head of House Royce, even though he seems to be an Arryn now? It's very confusing. Also, meeting Rhodri would be hard since he seems to always be in the Red Keep and I don't imagine Cole has much need to go in there.

Rhodri is the head of House Arryn, and Lord Paramount of the Vale. You raise a good point concerning Rhodri, I suppose we will have to wait for the right time.

So should we start making a contingency plans for if Barret's champion loses? It seems likely he'll be made to take the black. Perhaps an ambush could be done on the group bringing him up north, and then he could flee to Volantis.

Well, I've done some talking with Callen, and I don't think things will even be that bad. Ironically, I think I'll get off pretty well for all this. The worst that may happen, is having my male heirs raised in King's Landing, or having my children raised as Baratheon's (like their mother) instead of as Tyrell's. Though that really would make them part of the royal family...
Regardless I think I'll get off pretty well (from Callen) after this, regardless of who wins the duel. Though I doubt that our relations with Houses Royce, Blackwood (and Lannister?) will improve.

Will I think I handled thing Ok with Randal. Also It would be good if you do only get a slap on the wrist for what you did. I might also be able to let the King have you child fostered with me at Uplands as I showed totally loyalty to him when I was more 50 50 but don't tell Callen.
