The man noted the information down. "Port cost is 25 stags a day, payable before departure," the man huffed and then moved on to check in the next ship.

"Most certainly."
Tyrio bowed mockingly at the official grinning widely, before telling his part of his crew to start unloading the cargo. Other of his men disappeared into town to take a look around. Others strolled around the harbor nonchantly looking at the wide variety of ships at anchor.

"Where are you from?" a smaller boy says to Tyrio as he steps off the ship. A group of about 5 or 6 boys are nearby busily wandering around the harbor talking to sailors coming off the ship.

Tyrio flipped the boy a silver coin winking at him.
"Beyond the sea." he answered. "From a city called Lys."

The boy hungirly grabs the coin and tucks it away in his pocket, "Thank you mister" he says with a smile. "You are here to trade in oldtown?" the boy says looking at the ship they just came off of.

"That's right." Tyrio answered, smiling at the boy's inquistiveness.
"Seen any other ships that look like that one there, here in Oldtown?", he said, jerking his thumb at the distinctive Lyseni style ship he had just come from.

Tyrio paused briefly as one of his men came up and whispered something in his ear. Tyrio acknowledged the man with a nod, before resuming his conversation.
"Did they indeed?" he replied to the boy.
"Any idea which direction they went?"
He flipped a silver coin into the air and caught it, flashing very white teeth in a wide grin.

The boy looked carefully at the silver coin as it flipped coveting it, but frowned as it landed in Tyrio's hand. "I am afraid I know not mi lord, the ships left the harbor and could have gone any direction after that. I had suspected they were returning to Lys but alas I can not confirm that," the boy said hoping honesty was the best policy.

Noticing the boy's covertous look, Tyrio relented and flipped him the coin. He gave a short bark of laughter.
"It's yours boy. I've found out what I wanted to find. A pity that some here couldn't be a little more honest."
Tyrio beckoned to one of his men.
"Round the crew up. I want to be gone within the hour. See that all relevant dues are paid to the harbour-master. And leave the harbour-master a little bonus to 'facilitate' our departure."
Within the hour, the Lyseni trading ship had sailed.
