Character Personal History: Jhorgo is the son of Erik Greyjoy, formerly Erik Coldiron, formerly Erik Pyke, by his first salt wife, Rhelis, a former Dothraki slave captured while reaving. Much of his youth was spent on Bear Island, his father's fief. However, he and his family were captured along with the island by Northern invaders upon the Ironborns' ill-fated declaration of independence.
Jhorgo, his mother, and his half-sister, Helya, spent the next few years as captives, first to Lord Olander Reed and then Lord Joramun Goodbrother. However, they were released to the custody of their cousin, Mortimer Greyjoy (Pyke), on the condition that they swear never to seek the Seastone Chair.
Since then, Jhorgo has mainly been raised by his 'uncle' Morty, traveling both Westeros and the East. First, these travels were largely incognito, but soon became adventures in reaving. Cap'n Jho has amassed a small fortune and a fleet of six ships, mainly crewed by Ironborn seeking a return to the Old Way. Braavos' considerable shipping with Westeros and the Stepstones provides much of their funding. He captains the longship Bloody Fool.
Character Physical Description:
An inch or two over six feet, Jhorgo has the tanned skin and black hair of a Dothraki, not looking much like his father's family save for his eyes, cold and grey.
Character Reputation: Well, that depends entirely on who you ask. A Braavosi merchant might say he's pirate scum, a blight on the shipping industry. An Ironborn captain might chuckle and shake his head, muttering about the Old Way. A Westerosi would likely shrug and say he doesn't have time to blather about upstart reavers in the Narrow Sea.
