These individuals are the only ones in Westeros who would be considered "legendary" in their skill with battle.
Ser Ulger Gaunt, called the Charger: Born the fourth son of Lord Urron Gaunt. Ulger spent an easy life at his family’s small keep having his every need seen too. But at the age of 18 his father found out he had sired a bastard. Ulger was sent into exile in the Free Cities but the young Knight did not like it and he soon joined with a small group of Dothraki. For the next 8 years Ulger lead these horse people across the great grass lands killing any other Khal he found. When news finally reached him of his father’s death the now great general returned home and was accepted back into his family’s home. Age 32
Ser Desmond Darry, called Babykiller: The year that Desmond gained his spurs and served his father no children that were born lived and his wife has had 3 miscarriages and a small boy has not lived past 5. The folk all whispered that this young Knight uses babies’ lives in service to some evil god. He is not well liked by the peasants around Darry but he is tolerated by the Lords for his natural skill in battle. Age 24
Lord Frenken Volmark called Kinslayer: Frenken served his Great Uncle with totally loyalty learning everything he could off the man. But as soon as Lord Otto Volamrk died and the family gathered to give the lordship to his son Frenken walked into the Hall with 200 made up of the crew of his ship and his friends and Captain Jarl Pyke. There Frenken slaughtered everyone present until he was the only living Volamark. The Ironborn accepted his right to rule as they didn’t really care. He was given the name of Kinslayer, something that Frenken says with pride. He became a great general during the taking of Sunspear. Age 41
Lord Gariss Stane: Gariss is one of the three Lords on Skagos. Stane has slowly forced the other two lords to make him the commander in everything but name of the Island. With all the recent wars and grief in the North it was easy for this Lord to learn. Gariss has been honed over years of fighting pirates at sea and leading bands of men into the land beyond the Wall. Age 55
Lord Peyton Redwyne. Redwyne has a long and storied history as a naval commander, having served as Master of Ships before resigning. Redwyne has a reputation has a hard, unyielding man, with a hint of treachery about him, his having been on the wrong side of more than one rebellion. However several years in the black cells change a man, and he is now a faithful Hightower bannerlord.
