I think the game is slowing down for one reason or another. What do you think we need to stay as active as possible? (And war isn't quite the answer to that).

I think there is a natural ebb and flow. Baldwin, Breyn, and Lilith have all been away, and they are major players.

Yeah, that's true. With them away, it does seem to be going more slowly. But I think events are still moving at a fairly decent pace. I don't think we need to add anything new.
Although I have to say, I always fantasized about a war with the Others.

It has slowed down a bit, but not a lot. People will be away more now that most of us are on summer vacation.

I think some of it (at least for me) is because we're still adjusting to the post TJ world and, with most if not all of us in Storms End for the tourney there's not a lot going on elsewhere - Sunspear excluded

It actually *helps* to have so many people in one place, like a tourney. It means less Scenarios get submitted, but more character-to-character interactions. The feasting hall and tourney threads have exploded to many pages, after all, so a lot of talk is happening. That helps us refine our characters and our goals before we all spread out again and start relying on scenarios.

All in all.....we have real, real world lives. At least I hope you guys do. My work schedule has been jammed up and I am starting a Wargame, and I am playing two other games besides this one. So time is hard to divide up into all that. I already spent the better part of my morning hammering into the game I am starting.

There isn't as much general chaos going on as there was during the Civil War. The Martells are the only ones on a major military expedition right now.
