im pretty sure we cant send events, we can only send scenarios and rumours, which should be clear as to which is which

Against my better judgement I accepted Elane's event, but events won't be accepted from players in the future. So, no you can't send in events.

Erm, I kinda think that players should be able to submit events, but only under specific circumstances: it's an event completely under the player's control, it's too short to be a scenario, but it would be publically known. For example:
"Lord Suchandsuch calls his banners."
Waaay to short to be a scenario, but something that people would know is happening. Doing it via an event, rather than in a roleplaying discussion thread makes it "official".

I'd -been- approving that sort of event as it's easier on everyone involved, with the exception that I haven't accepted troop-raising events because Crake told me "don't do it again" when I did it.
May change in the future, but right now we're undergoing negotiations for another guerilla reorganization.
