Danwell grunted "If it's more than 20 we're in trouble. We'll have to avoid major towns & keeps. They'll probably all be held by the enemy or the Riverlanders" Danwell spat on the ground "And I haven't trusted a Riverlander since Kings Landing, or a dornishman for that matter" he scowled

"Well lets get everyone up it's going to be a long day of riding." He then goes and gets everyone up out of there sleep, much to there disliking.

Danwell nods and after they've all had a hearty breakfast (he notes disprovingly that Verden has 3 helpings) they set off, due North, towards the coast of Ironman's Bay

They had been riding and now it was past noon. As Maxwell rides under a tree he picks off an apple and starts in on it. He had been enjoying the country side and was looking around when he saw movements across a field to there left. It was on the edge some trees but it looked to be about 15 men. As he watches them they get closer and closer, he then rides up to Danwell and whispers, " Don't look now but I think theres some people who want our horses and our food to our left. What do you think we should do?

From behind the tree line, a grey haired man stands watching the scene, not sure if he wants to make himself known to the men yet.

Danwell grunted as Max pointed them out "Avoid them if possible. We don't know if they have any friends nearby or if they'll be missed if they don't get back. Can we go round them?" he asked quietly

"We could ride fast, but it would draw unwanted attention to ourselves." " I say we get behind the wall and wait for them to move."

Ser Verden also spots the men. He prepares himself to jump down from the saddle in order to lead it somewhere hidden. He simply awaits the order.
In addition, he reaches around to his back, making sure that his bow is easily accessible should he need to wield it.

Amory watches the men with one eye, but continues on with the rest of the men. He gently loosens his sword in his scabbard, stretching his arms out and faking a large yawn to look inconspicuous.

Danwell looked around at his men and shook his head with a weary smile "Guess we're going through them then, not around" he muttered. "Ok lads, ready yourselves and we'll see if these people are hostile or not. We need to identify them just in case they're "loyal" riverlanders" Danwell said sarcastically

Patrek squints trying to make out the group, then snorts, "They do not look like fighters to me".

Danwell squinted. He would never admit it, but his eyesight had been failing him recently, especially over longer distances. He grunted in agreement with Patrek and replied "I'm sure you're right Pat, but I'd like to know for sure. See if one of the lads can shinny up that tree and get a good look at them without giving away our position"

"Well don't look at me," Verden whispers indignantly on overhearing them. "These hands were made for archery, plucking the strings of a harp and not much else. I shan't be scuffing them on treebark!"
