Hey Breck, I was thinking... After this is over, you should go to the King and tell him that they should stop Queen's Crossing, and instead repair the wall and make it larger around King's Landing. And then eventually build a second larger wall, which would make it more defensible and also allow for more city expansion.

More people and a way!!! more defensible city. Very expensive though. Leave killing grounds too in front of the inner walls for about 100 yards.

I know it's very expensive, but the Queen started the building of a whole other city on the south side of the Blackwater Bay, AND she is making a partial lake around it too. I'd daresay that quitting that idea and diverting the funds to the walls would save money...

Either he truly thinks she is too young or he's being polite. How about Rindwynd's daughter? She is the Lady of Oakshield (sp?) and Rindwynd Tyrell's heiress. It'd actually give Jason a place to rule over I think...at least technically.

I wouldn't worry too much and I'll tell you why: the next war we're involved in will probably be with the Targ's and won't be for a while...and if it will we'll just abstain from doing anything from defense. I've got other plans to help recouping anyway.

Well that's good to know, it really wouldn't be good for Westeros to enter another war right after that. I'm just relieved that I actually survived. I feel bad about Valar of Volantis though. He seemed cool and Jason never even got to meet him.
