the Viceroy will always have two bodyguards unless he fails, in which case Aranya will than face a larger crowd of soldiers.

Aranya- 164 (Light Wound, -10)
Versus:
Viceroy- 184 (Halberd)
Guard #1: 60 (KILLED)
Guard #2: 44 (KILLED)
Like a flash, Aranya struck out, catching the first bodyguard in the throat, the second one in the crotch, mortal blows. The Viceroy's halberd sang as it sliced through the air, cutting across Aranya's forearm, there was a spark as the metal struck against stone. But it still drew blood.

Guard #4: 93 (heavy wound, -35)
Two more men rushed in, Aranya sliced them both down, and tried an overhand strike against the Viceroy, who blocked it, and circled, looking for an opening in the Vale woman's defense.

Guard #3: 76 (2 Heavy Wound, -70)
Guard #4: 80 (2 heavy wound, -70)
Aranya feinted, and the leader of the Basilisk army moved to strike, than she swirled and struck him with the steel capped butt of her spear on the knee. He grunted. And stepped back. His two guards surged forward to protect him, and took heavy wounds for their troubles.

Viceroy- 156 (Light Wound, -10)
Guard #3: -15 (KILLED)
Guard #4: -20 (KILLED)
Aranya finishes off the two guards, before moving in against the Viceroy. He parries his blows however, and keeps mobile, dancing and slashing around her.

Aranya slashed the Viceroy across the face, knocking his helmet from his head, revealing an attractive, if slightly pale face, with long platinum hair. He smiled cruelly through the remains of his mouth.

Aranya recoiled for a moment from the man's hideous visage, and though disfigured, the Viceroy was not disarmed. He brought his halberd down across her left shoulder, for a deep and bloody wound.

Viceroy- 83 (Average Wound, 1 Light wound -30)
Guard #7: 118
Guard #8: 97 (NO Result)
Aranya slashes with her spear, but her blood loss is beginning to weaken her thrusts, and the Viceroy turns it aide. one of the guards manages to get a blow in under the Bastard of the Bloody Gate's guard.

Versus:
Viceroy- 173 (Average Wound, 1 Light wound -30)
Guard #7: 124
Guard #8: 59 (Heavy HIt, -35)
The Vice Roy brings his halberd down between Aranya's shoulder blades, and cuts deep, the blade lodges deep into her collar bone, blood begins to spurt from the wound, Aranya wobbles, and as a guard slashes with his sword she is late with her spear, and takes a deep cut on her forearm. Still, she remains on her feet.

Aranya struggles to remain standing, as the Viceroy's blade comes down again, cutting deep into her abdomen. A look of shock overtook her face, as blood bubbled up to her lips.

The Viceroy brought his halberd down again, slicing deep across Aranya's neck and chest. The Valewoman took a step forward as the guard plunged his sword into her bowels.
She fell, and the Bastard of the Bloody Gate was dead.
