7) Character Personal History: Byren was born the second son of the Knight of Harvest Hall, Bertram Selmy his older brother. He was raised to be a good knight and person, although he was never given much training in the way of Lordship. He became a ward for Lord Hasty when he was 8, and became a squire for him when he was 10. When he was 16 he was knighted by Lord Hasty, although it was more of a good-will sign towards House Selmy than an honest to got knighting.

When his older brother Byren entered the Kingsguard Byren knew what it meant—that he was now the lord of Harvest Hall. He chose to keep the ancestral custom of being the Knight of Harvest Hall, as it was once a small house created by a knight.

8) Character Physical Description: Byren stands at 5’10” and is more lean than muscular. He has short brown hair that curls, and bright blue eyes with a bit of gold speckled on the inside. He could be described as handsome, although others usually have the luck with women. He wears a brown tunic with a golden wheat colored cloak, with three stalks of wheat forged in gold used as a brooch.

9) Character Reputation: Ser Byren Selmy is known in the Stormlands only as a young man with much potential.

6) Character Personal History: As a young child Valarr was orphaned and enslaved by a mercenary company in the Free Cities, working for them for several years. It was there he was given his tattoos, the symbol of the mercenary company. He grew up with them, learning the art of war. However, the mercenary company was defeated in battle and Valarr was given to the Red Temple in Volantis, and taught in the ways of the Red Priests of R’hllor. During his inception to priest-hood Valarr learned to calm down and control his emotions, although he still enjoyed the occasional drinking and fighting. After he finished his training he was sent to Westeros, due to his skill in several languages, to convert others to the Fiery Faith. He eventually found himself in the Stormlands, and wandered to Harvest Hall where he was taken in by Ser Byren Selmy. He is now one of Byren’s best friends, and he is confided in more than any other.

7) Character Physical Description: Valarr is halfway past five foot, with a slightly chubby build. His skin is a light brown, and he has black eyes. He has short dark brown hair which mostly covers the tattoos he got as a child. They are all blue, and the only visible parts are the talons of the hawk coming down past Valarr’s hairline on the left and right sides of his temple, and the two blue stripes going down over his left eye and straight across his nose to the right, ending at points under his right eye. He wears the red robes typical of Red Priests, and has a sword on his waist.

8) Character Reputation: At first sight Valarr is slightly feared, but also hated, for being a red priest. However, within Byren’s men he is liked for his generally bawdy nature.

6) Character Personal History: Amory is a very distant relative of House Yarwyck, his family merely being field hands. He grew up learning the art of tracking, and soon became a very promising hunter. He was hired on by Lord Yarwyck as their Master of Game, but after a few years there was an accident and Amory was released from his service, no questions asked. Amory wandered through the Westerlands for nearly a decade, finding work as Master of Game for several Lords. He finally settled down as Master of Game for House Payne, but several years later was once again mysteriously released from his service. Amory soon found himself in the King’s Men of King’s Landing, the only job he could hold. His skills were noticed by Ser Danwell, who needed skilled trackers for his mission. He was taken on, and has been with the group ever since.

7) Character Physical Description: Amory stands at six feet, with a wiry build. He has short black hair that is well-peppered with gray, and has a mostly gray beard which he keeps trimmed close to his jaw. He wears a plain brown tunic with a quiver and longbow on his back, and an iron sword at his waist. He’s a bitter man, and not very fond of the highborn.

8) Character Reputation: Amory is known as an able hunter and skilled tracker in the Westerlands and King’s Men.
