"Yes, the Maesters," Templeton said, rising and helping the Lannister to his feet. Sheathing his sword, Gawain began walking, stepping over the corpses and around the old men and children who were looting the bodies for arrows and anything of value.

On the way to the Maester's Daniel watches the looting and asks what Gawain thought of the West and if he liked the Vale better.

"The Vale is my home..." he said, expressionlessly. "All I have seen of the West so far is war. And for that, I feel at home. What lands have you seen?" Templeton asked, for once curious.

After getting bandaged up. Daniel leaves the Maester's and heads to his own chambers for a few hours of sleep.
