I think he should stay captain for a while, that way I can improve my naval warfare skill.. And Commander skill as he's just used governing one ship at a time, and right now he lacks Commander skill.
Send him with Emmon, that way he can improve his naval skill also

Do you know of any single Vale women?

I don't know of any known NPCs or the like... If you want to get married we can fabricate one.

I'm thinking Lady Cathrine Egen, Lady of House Egen. Age 37.

Well... That one doesn't seem likely. Egan is one of the great houses of the Vale, and they have sons that go by Ser, which tells me there's a living Lord... and she's too old for safe childbirth in Westeros.
What were you trying to get at with this match?

I searched the forum and I couldn't find any Egens, but I could have missed them..
What do you propose then?

-----to Andrew
I sent the "scenario", the situation definetly had more potential, but didn't want to write something just to write it...
You want a go at the sparring?
-----to Roland
Owen and Laren will soon be back in Runestone, with freshly improved riding skills, so we can start the clanthing

Andrew-- The Egans are NPCs (a GM general, and a knight). What are you looking for in a wife in here?
Laren-- Okay. Sorry about that Laren, let my scenario slip a bit... Will write it up after work and submit it.

I'm looking for someone to have a baby with... So family won't matter really.. I just looked around and couldn't find anyone, but I'll let you and the admin decide..

I would recommend someone younger than 37 for that in this particular setting, as childbirth is dangerous especially at that age. Are you looking to tell a story of you and her meeting and all that? Or just want to get married and down to the baby making?

Laren, I've submitted the scenario. So we'll be able to kick off shortly.

We could make her younger..No problem.. The age thing was mostly because I planned her to be a widow.. As Andrew is not known in these parts he would probably not find many suitors...
We should probably have them meet or something.. otherwise it must have been Jon that had set the thing up before he left, a bit hard to make this plausible though..
Come with any ideas... I'm open for them.

If Emmon is invited to dinner somewhere, would his captains be present? You could meet someone then....

I think the meeting at dinner idea has it merrits. You would be seated further down on the table( if it's a feast, sorta like the one at winterfell at the start of the series) and so among women that are of roughly same status. Wrote a scenario about entering runestone through disguises so don't make the guards open yet
