Yeh, it's fun to read some of the "discussions" in the treads, but I think the reason why I joined was primarily because of reading and writing about Westeros and what could be happening there. And it's definitely more fun to do it with others than alone.

If your aunt wants you "toughened up" maybe that's how we get Scot & Laren together. She could send you to her cousin's place out in Tedmyn's Down. It's a tough place. Do some Clans / Winter stuff up there.

That's fine. I have a similar problem in that I'll be taking a trip to Japan for about ten days.. Dec 27 to Jan 7... And i wont really be able to get online while I'm there. We'll just have to take it slow during that time.
