These events occurred during the 4YG:
House Stark is virtually empty, as well as the North. The nasty plague wiped out almost the entire House and nearly half of the Northmen either died or if they were lucky, taken ill by it. Lord Benjen Stark, his two sons and his sister are the only remaining Starks now.
