They are Weirwood seeds. Plant one in each Godswood to extend the power of the Old Gods south...gift from the Greenseers.

Once the weirwood trees start growing, you may be able to commune with Yohn near one, communicate is a somewhat telepathic way.
However, he won't be just walking into your dreams ala the Emelia-Aranya scene, because, frankly, that's Robert Jordan, not George R.R. Martin, and I don't believe it should be within the scope of our powers.

Yeah, it'll be more emotive, not so literal, and maybe a way to "share" greendreams. And Yohn's only outlet for a little while . Good start with the first planting!

Selwyn would have given it to Yohn anyways, once Yohn emerges. And remember, Emelia is not actually our ally.

Oh my God! I cannot believe I managed to miss all the interesting bits because of our bloody electrics. I've not had the computer for two days because of it and I come back to this! Wow...

Is it just me or do we Royce's have far more children than any of the others? Or is it just that we mention them more...?

That is because I named everyone. It doesn't exsist in this game until some one writes it down.

I fully intend on Yohn as my principle and Saella as my second when they come of age -- I've intended that since I had them born.

Sara doesn't get to take Jeyne? Jeyne will be Lady of the Rock (theoretically), and Sara at least has some link to the Lannisters.

That's because he was a horny bastard.

You're the meanest ever. The player behind the horny bastard occasionally plans behind the horny antics. Perhaps, but it doesn't stop the character being a horny bastard as you so eloquently (and truthfully) put it Rhodri! ;D

Rhod--what would you feel about setting up a weirwood/acorn link between Yohn and Petra. I thought it would be fun for her to have conversations with him while he was training.

I'm not really anticipating him having true "conversations". More just giving feelings, emotions, visions to people sat in front of a weirwood. It's not a straightforward telepathy where people can just chat. But that said, I'm all for it.
I was going to start that with Aranya at the Harrenhal Godswood as the party left, but I think she missed that...

I think it would be a one-way train.
