Interesting to note: I've just been assured that Horas was NOT behind the Elane assassination. I've reread the scenario and it dawned on me that Taria may not be an active participant -- that may have been her still a prisoner. So I'm wondering if it is our old friend Vikter Jast -- her presumed captor -- behind the action. Now what the hell Jast is doing trying to kill Elane, I have no idea. But it's a possibility.

But I still don't see how killing Elane could feed into that.
