Villisander looked at Marei, "They will have to refuse. Rickon will not be risked. Rodrick is not only a child, but an unruly child. And Avery is practically in rebellion."

"If I may be so frank, Lord Villisander... The Sea Lord of Braavos is well known for his... prickliness. That quality is no doubt why I am talking to you right now, instead of him. Such a request would not be unexpected from him, and as you are the wronged party, the Iron Throne will be forced to make due if they wish to negotiate."

Villisander stopped and looked at her. "It must be Avery... but I can not figure out why. The Sea Lord will do this if you swear their royal personage is not harmed. And if you return Lady Tristeza's child to her."

"Neither I, nor anyone else who works for my lord will harm any Baratheon so long as they are in Braavos. As for the other matter... I cannot speak on deals that involve my lord's family. But I am inclined to believe he will not allow the boy to permanently reside here."

Villisander looked around then nodded, "I was not asked to push for that. But I have grown close to the Lady Martell, and it hurts her that she is not with her child. I can assure you that the boy will be safer here then anywhere. Can you at least pass that message along to Lord Blackwood?"

"I will pass along any message that you wish delivered. That is my job. But Tristeza Martell has never given me a reason to do her any favors, and I would not give a fig for her happiness. Only her safety." Marei curtsies to the Braavosi. "Thank you for your time, my lord. Is there anything you wished to discuss, or shall I depart?"

Villisander crooked his head, "You have no other offers for Harlaw or Royce? I thought the bargaining had just begun."

Marei raises one slender eyebrow. "I thought you said there was nothing the Crow could give the Eel to make that happen?"

Villisander winked at her, "That was to give you incentive to bargain hard, not give up. But if you agree then I guess we are done."

Marei shrugs. "I do not like wasting my time. I have told you what my lord wants. If you will do likewise, Lord Horas and I can set about solving that problem."

Villisander raised an eye brow, "Such a pretty bird." He sighed, "We are done then. Have a good day." He turned and walked away.

Marei leaves without comment.
