I need to get some work done...it is writing so I can check in occasionally, but can you keep all in house comments in this thread if you want me to read them now?

I just posted some questions in the "Planning" thread, but I can post other comments here. I hope Breyn gets back soon, so we can tell him about this goldsmith plot.

Just got an ooc note from Baldwin saying the suspicious running around has to do with a Nelson Spear scenario not yet posted, so I don't think we're gonna die by Baldwin's hands tonight. I think the kidnapping should still be on though it would be way better to have it as a scenario. I like having the men poised though!

All right. Should I use the marketplace to briefly show my informers whispering about the fact that they reported "suspicious movements" to me? (So that our kidnapping of Orvil is justified)

That's a good point Lilith -- whatever the Lannisters might have somethings planned for us long run, I think that they are more interested in their own in-house battle (between Baldwin and Steffen)!

My informers will use the code name, "The Fortunate One" for Orvil. I know it's cheesy and tacky, but I can't think of anything more suitable right now. (They call him fortunate because the gossip of the town is that since Orvil came back from Casterly Rock, he's been spending money like water and looking all smug, so people guess he's gotten an important commission.)

It's a good thing that they have an in-house battle going on. And I agree that the kidnapping should be a scenario.

Orvil won't tell us what he knows. His family is being watched by the Lannisters and will be killed if he gives anything away.
Also, if the Lannisters discover this plot, thats provocation that cannot be ignored, and all of the in-house Lannister fighting that is to our benefit at the moment will go away, as they unite against a common foe.

That's probably too. Rhodri just said we don't have proper justification anyway.

Hmmm....let's hang tight and see what happens. We have set up a watching mechanism that will hold us in good stead, let's just watch what the Lannister's do. I have defended Piers in the past and would do it again. You guys might want to figure out which side you want to take in the battles. We promise to love each other even if battling in public

Eeks, I'm spending way too much time on this. I've made a The Ladies' Chambers thread so I can go to bed (with or without company ).
