Breck smiled, and turned to Nora, "I used to love the stories of King Edric." Nora laughed and leaned her head against him. "Tell me the story's of Breck's birth", Nora said as he laughed again.

"As you wish, but only this one more. Old bones and young need their sleep." Prywen smiled as he leaned forward again. "The year was 507 and I was still a relatively young man, although my hair was already beginning to gray. The lord hands wife had been pregnant for 9 months and the baby was soon to arrive. I remember the day exactly, almost as if it was yesterday. Through the day Lord Breck's Lady mother could already feel him coming, so we had brough her to the same chamber that I have arranged for the upcoming birth."
"Now, around dusk one of the nurses came to me, saying that it was time. I had never helped at a birthing before and so my nerves were on end. As I entered the room the ladies screams were... well, somewhat horrendous. They say birth can be painful, so I quickly gave her one of my special herbal remedies and most of her pain subsided. By this point young Breck's legs could already be seen and I was consernded that he might get himself tangled in his naval. The nurses said it was fine, that children were often born leg first, but I did not want to risk it. I will spare you both the details of what I had to do but by the end of I held a healthy baby in my arms and handed it to one of the nurses, who cleaned the baby and in turn handed it to it's mother."
"I remember the joyous look on her face as she held her son... the tears in her eyes and the way she said 'I shall name him Breck'. Believe me, young lord, there has never been a happier occasion in these walls."

They both smiled and Breck rubbed Nora's stomach, "Thats the kind of story I hope is true for this one."

"My Lord Breck, I believe this birth will also be a joyous one. Albeit now I will need to go to bed. I hope the two of you have a most maginificent sleep." Prwyn smiled and got up again. As he approached the door he whispered "It shall be a great birth." before leaving.

Maester Prywen enters and for a moment watches the two newly become parents enjoy the company of their child. "He is a strong boy." Prywen says as he makes his way over to one of the chairs.

Prywen holds the boy safely in his arms and smiles at him. "Yes, strong indeed. And he has a strong name too - Aegys. There is a story I know of an Aegys; He was a brave knight who did some great deeds. The boy will hear it in time."

Late into the night of a wintry day Breck ends the evening by reading to his infant son, while Nora nurses the babe, Eamon. Breck picks up Aegys, who yawns widely, and places him into his bed. The boy falls asleep almost immediately, and Breck smiles, smoothing the boy's bright blonde hair before turning back to his wife. Nora smiled at her husband as she rubbed the back of their babe.
