Jeyne began speaking to Rhae and did not appear to hear the prince's words.
Brynden said in a low voice, "You know, you really have to shut up some times."

Rodrick looked at Brynden and laughed, "Ya fool. Do you know her future. Cause I do. I can look at this pretty young lass and lay out her fate like one of those old crones with the cards."
Rickon hissed, "Rodrick!"

"Grown ups only mess things up more," Daeron growls darkly.
"Oh, be quiet, Dare," Catelyn says. She takes a honeycake herself and eats it happily.
Daeron says nothing more on the subject but gives Brynden a significant look.

Aleza turned to address the man who was speaking to her, and smiled as big as ever; "Lovely to meet you, Lord Tully. I am Aleza Payne. It is a most wondrous pleasure, I am sure."

Ser Mychel frowned at the Blackwod boy's words and acknowledged the significant look that he exchanged with Ser Benfry's squire, but said nothing. The young crow was very bold, considering his station, though Ser Mychel knew it was not his place to make a comment.

Brynden caught his eyes, his own dark eyes gleaming. He didn't say a word or even nod, but a look passed between them that said it all. Then Brynden reached for a cake.
"Wonder who the mystery knights are?"

"It is a pleasure indeed." Pieter thought a moment, "Payne is a Wester name correct? I apologize, I mean no slight. I am terribly awful at remembering names, and heraldry."

Rodrick shrugged and laughed. "I bet I can find out." He turned and ran from the box at full speed.

Aleza nodded pleasantly. "It is," she assured him, "And Tullys are of the Riverlands," she asserted with a broad smile. It was not a question.

"Aye, my lady, I am. In truth I am not one of the greater lances in the realm, though I have been tilting regularly for practice. I will represent his grace with honor, I am sure." Ser Mychel grinned. His smile, which had drawn scores of maidens into his bed in his youth, was not diminished with age although a few streaks of silver were beginning to show in his golden mane.
"His grace has been practicing with me, actually. I intend to train him to be the greatest warrior that this realm has seen since the Dragonknight." he said, giving the King a wink.

Pieter nodded, "When I was a landless squire, I never thought to need the knowledge." He winced, "But now as a Lord of the Riverlands, it is expected for me to know such things."

At Aleza's words, she said, "Your grandfather knew Roland? Why, then I might have known him too. I do feel old now. Who was your grandfather?" "His name is Danforth Yew," she replied amiably. Pieter nodded, "When I was a landless squire, I never thought to need the knowledge." He winced, "But now as a Lord of the Riverlands, it is expected for me to know such things." "It must be a terribly hard transition to make," she answered, her voice frought with concern, and her mout marred only momentarily by the slightest of frowns.

Pieter nodded, "It is. The last tourny I was at, I was sitting with the small folk. Now I sit feet away from the King. Amazing." He offers her a wan smile.

Daeron smiles at Brynden. Sometimes he found it hard to keep up with the older boy, but he would be three times as brave and four times as daring to make up for it. "Who knows?" he answers. "Maybe one of them is somebody really famous, like Kid Death or something."
Catelyn smiles at Lord Peiter and waves at him. "Hi, uncle Peiter. I didn't know you were coming to the tourney!"
Daeron frowns again and says nothing.
