Jack lays dying, and tries to whisper something to Roose. "The North..." he gasped, dying. "Be.. merciful... to the people... love them."

Roose stands over top of him. "Mercy for them yes." The once wild wolf, now solemn one says, "Mercy for you......no, only northern justice."
Raising the Valyrian Steel sword above his head. "In the name of Rickon of House Baratheon, the First of his Name, King of the Andals, and the Rhoynar, and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm, by the word of Roose of the House Stark, Lord of Winterfell and Warden of the North, I do sentance you too die."
He brought the sword down....It was Roose's sixteenth nameday.....

"Oh, now you fight me one on one. How brave of you," Jack whispered, one last jest, before the sword ended him.

Roose looked to his captain. "Pursue the scattered peasants, kill any who do not throw down their weapons, take into custody those that surrender."
(How many men do I get?)
