Ser Preston and ten other men, fighting thirty men at Highton.
However, more Highton men are on the way.
I would expect Ser Preston, being a trained knight and vetern soldier, to have somewhere around a Noteworthy skill with the sword.
The other men, also being soldiers/retainers of Roose Stark would have somewhere around apprentice to noteworthy in weaponry.
Objective: Ser Preston and the first five men will try to cut their way through to Wat Shepard and try to take him into custody and persuade him to surrender. The other five will guard their backs.

Wat is noteworthy staff and is standing behind three guards. Leadership: grand master (maybe master at that time since it was published regarding the rebel camp)
Jack is master sword, grand master battle (maybe master at that time since it was published regarding the rebel camp)
The men will not slay Ser Preston if possible, when he's heavily wounded and weak they'll disarm him. And Wat will send for the Maester.
The rest of Preston's men are free game

Mag asked me to post Jack's stuff up here
Jack is Master Sword, GM Battle. He has 30 men with various weapons surrounding Ser Preston's men, not including the three guarding Wat. He has sent a boy outside to bring more men, so I'd estimate that 20 more men can come in 3-4 turns.
Jack will be protecting Wat at all costs.

Remember though, Preston is only a few feet from Wat.

I will roll this in two separate actions. 1 will be Preston and two men, versus Wat and Jack and one man. Than I will roll the battle between the 10 and 30 men, with reinforcements for the Highton men.
The two events will be presumed to take place simultaneously.

I thought Wat had three guards in front of him...
It was stated in RP and on here. It was also stated in RP that the eleven men are completely surrounded.

They are part of the large battle. This is the single combat.

Okay, I could understand, but the three guards are physically between Preston and Wat.

They moved to his side to try and grab him by the arms and arrest him, and Preston darts in between to try and stab Wat.

Fight between Ser Preston and Rebels
Round 1: Ser Preston-Noteworthy (83) (Light Wound, -10) Ser Snow #1-65 (Heavy Wound, -35) Ser Snow #2-167
v.
Wat Shepard-Noteworthy (100) Jack Lordsbane-Master (132) Bumpkin the Peasant-Apprentice (159) (No injury)
Ser Preston darts forward, with his sword in an attempt end end Wat the Shepard's insurrection right here and now. Wat side steps the knight and gives him a crack on the hand with his staff, possibly breaking the wrist. Ser Snow charges with Ser Preston, and meets with even worse luck, catching Jack's blade right across the midsection. The other Ser Snow (No relation), does battle with Bumpkin the Pumpkin farmer, his sword clashing with Bumpkin's sharpened hoe to no effect.
Round 2: Ser Preston-85 (Heavy Wound, Light wound, -45) Ser Snow #1-38 (2 Heavy Wounds, -70) Ser Snow #2-105
v.
Wat Shepard-138 Jack Lordsbane-121 Bumpkin the Peasant-88 (Light Wound, -10)
Ser Preston, undeterred, despite the pain in his hand, struggles with Wat, but the rebel's staff is too quick for the Northern Knight, and he catches an end up side the jaw, likely breaking it. Even if he lives, he's unlikely to be anyone's diplomat ever again. Ser Snow continues to struggle with the Jack, how fights in the unorthodox style of the self-trained. But it seems to be effective, and the knight takes two more slashes. Only Ser Snow (No relation), manages to get the jump on his opponent, and Bumpkin takes a wicked slash across the forearm.
Round 3:
Ser Preston-32 (2 Heavy Wounds, 1 Light Wound, -80) Ser Snow #1- 60 (3 Heavy Wounds, -105) Ser Snow #2-156
v.
Wat Shepard-81 Jack Lordsbane-143 Bumpkin the Peasant-150 (No Injury, still Light wound, -10)
Ser Preston is bleeding badly now, but remains intent on killing Wat Shepard. Unfortunately, Wat's resolve hasn't lessened either, and Preston takes another knock about the skull. Ser Snow should have spent less time wenching and more time with his sword fighting, as he is quickly slashed yet again by Lordsbane, who may also take the Byname Red Snow, as he treats his bastard knight like a pin cushion. Ser Snow (No Relation) continues to duel with the hoe of Bumpkin the Pumpkin farmer, but neither man can make any headway.
Round 4
Ser Preston- 25 (3 Heavy Wounds, 1 Light Wound, -115) Ser Snow #1- -42 (Killed) Ser Snow #2-145
v.
Wat Shepard-102 Jack Lordsbane-Master 163 Bumpkin the Peasant-Apprentice- 54 (1 Heavy Wound, 1 Light Wound, -45)
Its not clear quite what is keeping Ser Preston alive at this point, but he continues undeterred, as Wat smashes him again. Preston's left eye pops out of its socket from where it has been smashed, and dangles uselessly on the side of his face. Lordsbane finally stops playing with Ser Snow, and runs him through, But Ser Snow (no relation) slashes Bumpkin across the chest, and the farmer begins bleeding badly.
Round 5
Ser Preston--42 (killed) Ser Snow #2-160
v.
Wat Shepard-153 Jack Lordsbane-168 Bumpkin the Peasant-106 (2 Heavy Wounds, 1 Light Wound, -80)
Preston's strength fails him, and Wat delivers one strike to his leg, which knocks him to the ground, and another one which splits his skull, sending blood and grey matter throughout the hall. Now by himself Ser Snow (no relation) proves his mettle, and fights off both Lordsbane and the bleeding Bumpkin.
Round 6
Ser Snow #2: 59 (Killed)
V. Wat-108 Jack-168 Bumpkin-59 (Average wound, 2 Heavy Wounds, 1 Light Wound, -100)
Ser Snow manages to hold off Wat, and even nicks Bumpkin again with the side of his blade, before Jack catches him in the rear, and hacks him down. Perhaps these Northern Knights should have never left the Old Gods.
Ser Snow #2, and Bumpkin the Pumpkin Farmer, are both posthumously awarded Noteworthy (Sword and Hoe respectively)
