Seth and the men of Greycopse made a swift journey to their home again, taking little time to make a distance from King's Landing. It was always a joy for the people when the men returned. Seth's stomach felt a pang of regret. He would be enjoying the festivities with his men and the ladies of Greycopse, though Aerie would be absent. It made him a sprig sad, though he had learned to often accept his wife's willful deigns. It made things wholly easier on himself.
He looked to his two squires, Bress and Kebra. He saw that they were busy in conversation, though he couldn't help but smile. They will be great warriors one day. He thought to himself.

Kebra looked up as Bress finished a sentence, "Why do you smile Lord Falgrave?"

Seth chuckled. "Oh, I was just thinking that one of the most valuable assets of a warrior is his comrades. And you two seem to be getting along well. I was just noticing. A friend's blade is a welcome sight."

Kebra nodded, "Yes Bress is a very good friend aren't you?" The other boy laughed at Kebra manner.

Bress chuckled. "I think we would be better friends if you just admitted I was the better sword!"

"But that would be lying Bress and it is very wrong to lie to a friend. Isn't that right Lord Falgrave."

Seth laughed. "You should spend more time strengthening the other's weaknesses."

"But I have no weakness's. I'm almost as good with the bow as you Lord. But I'll continue to grow while your eye site fails."

"Is that so?" Seth asked his squire, feeling the need to show him some humility.
"Well then, how about a little competition once we set up camp?" Seth began stringing his yew bow.
"We will have Bress here set up a target for us and we will shoot. Best three shots wins."

"Sounds fair." Knowing he was about to be shown up Kebra thinks quickly, "I know I will not defeat you today but I will one day. But for now this will be fun."

Seth laughed. Perhaps the youth was smarter than he thought.
"For fun. I will make a wager. If you outstrike me, you are free to have any horse from the Greycopse stables, save Anarchy." Seth laughed thinking of how angry Aerie would be if the boy tried to take her horse from her.

As soon as the contest was over, Seth clapped his hand on Kebra's shoulder.
"You bested me on that first shot, Kebra. Had you kept that focus the whole time, you would probably have won." Seth was proud of his oft-times arrogant squire.

"The wind forced my other shots of Falgrave." The boy smiled at Seth to show his good humor, "So do I still get the horse?"

Seth laughed. "We'll see."

"I could always have a new bow. Or Sword. I've been meaning to find a new sword. Those long ones are well to long for me. I want something thats shorter for close combat."
