"It could have been cleaned by some servants," Brandon thinks as he walks into the library. He heads for shelf where the book "Maester Gunder" had given to him was.

Brandon takes the book out of the shelf and tries to get some more information from it, maybe it had said something about ghosts he had dismissed in his late readings.

After briefly skimming through the pages, Brandon can find nothing except for a number of references to ancestor worshiping cults which existed before the Seven revealed themselves on the hills of Andalos.

The statute has remained unchanged since Brandon entered the library. The golden apple in its hand rests loosely within its fingers. The look in the statute's eyes seems to mock the Valeman, refusing to give up his secret.

Brandon nearly growls and wants to punch the smirk of the statue, instead he touches it to check if it's hollow. He also touches the golden apple, changing it's possision in the hand.

The apple spins easily, it rests in the man's grasp lightly, as if made to be easily removed, perhaps for cleaning purposes.
The statute seems very solid, and monstrously heavy.
