Alexander Irwyn marches from Godsgrace with:
19,500 soldiers of the FarReach (Reinforcements from Lemonwood 1,500) 3,000 soldiers of the West 2,500 soldiers of the Mander 1,000 soldiers of the Vale

The remaining Crown Forces are divided to defend the Vaith, Godsgrace and Lemonwood.
Lord Robb Tarly (Master) Leads the Vanguard of 5,000 men with Rodney Blackbar (Expert), they are scouting ahead of the formation looking for ambushes.

Fowler's cavalry is on the right, and charges forward the center of the Crown's lines, where Bret Tarly and Lord Mors Lydden have their spears set to receive a charge, But at the last moment, the Dornishmen wheel, and let loose with a barrage of arrows. Back and forth across the lines the Dornishmen open fire, pelting the Loyalist forces with missile fire. Far Reach crossbow men respond, and do some damage, but not much.

The Dornish light cavalry and their archers have been wrecking havoc upon the Crown forces, but the tide turns as the Far Reach's Infantry, well drilled under Alexander, take the field, and cut deep into the Dornish lines. Alex's buckler shield is covered with so many splintered arrows he must toss it aside as he hunts for Fowler in the mix.
Despite their penetration of the Dornish center, the Crown's flanks are continuing to struggle, as Ser Brett Tarly is pierced through the heart with a Dornish spear, and Ser Coldwater is pulled from his horse and hacked to pieces by the vengeful desert people. Seeing Ser Coldwater Fall, Florent rides his adopted Mander troops to his rescue, only to catch a barbed arrow in the throat. Gagging and spitting blood, he falls to the ground, injured badly.

The West's flank also falters, and begins to get pushed back, and the Mander stands toe to toe with their dornish enemies, taking an extreme punishment for refusing to retreat.

The Dornish battle their way forward, only to find themselves enveloped in pockets of reachmen, and cut down to a man. Quick to realize what is happening, Fowler calls for a reorganization of his lines, slowing his forward press, and the Crown forces recover some momentum.

Finding a reserve known only to men whose desire to live has long since passed them by, the Dornish crash again into the lines, tearing deep into the center of the army. Cutting their way directly for Alexander Irwyn. Irwyn is thrown from his horse, and a Dornishman goes to bring a mace down upon his skull, only to be run through by Ser Keldon. The mander flank is totally crushed in a charge and routed, and Ser Rodney cut down.

Bloody Alex Irwyn cuts his way through swaths of Dornishmen, towards the center. When he sees the Stone Hawk, fighting beside a standard bearer. Alex hurls an axe at his mortal foe, but the herald catches it square in the chest, and dies for his lord.
"YOU!" Cries Fowler, as he fights forward toward Irwyn, the two lock in combat.
Many Dornishmen see Fowler's standard fall, and they run, thinking their great lord slain, the Westermen under Murderous Mors give chase, sending more snakes to their just reward.
