Roose and Maleagant,
Mag has much more experience on the mainland than most Skagosi, so he would like to come in and kind of visit everyone here pretty soon. Probably stop by the Dreadfort and Winterfell at least, maybe Karhold. Is that alright with you guys?
Also, what is the deal with a former Bolton on Skagos? Can someone update me on the history/current events on Skagos? I am playing the heir so I need to know the current state of my island ;D

I know nothing about that.
But on another note, I would like to talk about the small scale smallfolk rebellion in the western part of the North.

Sure, what are your questions?

I'm currently consdering three routes:
Make concessions to the smallfolk
Utterly crush the rebellion
Find a middle road where neither the smallfolk, nor the lords will be happy, but it will avoid some fighting.

Well, I'm in a delicate position because my third is one of the leaders in the rebellion, but my first and second are loyal to Winterfell.
I will say this: I think action needs to be taken, aggressively. The rebellion is pretty much guaranteed to blow up very big if it is not met with aggression.
At the same time, I will do my best for my third to continue the rebellion.
Man, this is weird.

I suggest middle way punish Lords that mistreat the peasants, but rebellion is wrong act nevertheless. They should have complained to you.
And there was some plan to give Skagos to Elaena Bolton and Marten Lannister. But it never reached advanced stage.

Okay, thanks Melkor. Is there a famous Bolton currently in exile on Skagos? Several people have told me that.

There was that Gamlin guy....but I'm not entirely sure where he is though....
I've had the same thing happen to me before, two characters under my control with conflicting views that is.
However, you have to be true to each of them.
Certain strategies should probably be used in different areas.
In some violent action will have to be taken, in others some grievances can be addressed.
Roose needs to establish himself as a respected, and perhaps a bit of a feared lord (to quote Catelyn).

Yes, Roose needs to be seen as a very strong, but still just lord. Its a delicate balance, I think. Whenever I think of the North, I think of Winterfell, and the Starks. The Stark name and everything it represents needs to be brought back into the mind of every person of the north. Not the Bolton name, the Dustin name. But the Stark name. They are the heart of the north, I think, and the only true name the Skagosi will follow.

All right, I have some ideas, however, from other people in this particular board I wouldn't mind getting some others.
How do I re-establish the name and reputation of House Stark?

I was thinking initially of a marriage to Jeyne Lannister. But perhaps a marriage to a northern lord's daughter would be more beneficial.
