Down in the feast hall, the servants brought out a massive black swan in her plumage, stuffed with herbs, garlic, lemon and pork. The swan was laid at the high table and the servers brought out large knives to carve it. The first portion was served, at Aranya's indication, to Brandon Stone, then to Aranya, then the rest. Selyse had left, protesting fatigue.

As Jon Lydden wandered about the Dun Fort in the dark, he tripped on a small figure.

"What in bloody hell was that?" Jon exclaimed, rising and dusting himself off.

A small girl rose with some difficulty, smoothing out her blue satin dress. Her dark was messy, and she tried to comb it with her fingers.
"I'm sorry," she said in a clear voice. "I shouldn't have been lying out on the ground. You're the knight from Deep Den, aren't you? I'm Selyse."

"I'm the Lord from Deep Den," Jon said, before realizing what had came out of his mouth. What is wrong with me? It was just a dream. Lewys is alive.Shaking it off, he didn't bother correcting himself, but said, "Yes, I suppose you shouldn't have been lying in floor. What are you doing, girl?"

"Trying to see with my third eye. I think I can if I really try."
She looked at him with keen eyes, and then smiled. "Did you have a bad dream? You look a little upset."

Jon looked suspiciously at this little girl. Why had she just asked him that? Trying to shake off all the weird feelings that had come over him the last few minutes, he said, "What do you mean, "trying to see with your third eye"? Explain yourself."

Selyse shrugged. "Mother can do it. I think if I really try, I can too. And you. My lord," she added, remembering her manners. "See visions of what is to come, or what came before."

Jon eyed the girl with a little more curiosity. Remembering the dream he just had, he said, "So you can... intrepret dreams? And visions? If I had one, for example."

Selyse tried to straighten up a little more. "I could try," she said, trying to sound confident. "I've heard Mother mutter to herself when she thinks no one is listening."

Jon looked around to make sure no one was watching him share visions with a little girl, and then he repeated his memory of the dream to her.

Selyse looked thoughtful. "It sounds like a city far south. A hot place. And since you saw Lord Lydden and you said Lord Lydden is in Dorne, then it must be a city in Dorne."
She furrowed her little brow, thinking. "I think that you feel guilty and think that Lord Lydden died there, which is why you told him you didn't want him to die in your dream. Do you feel guilty, ser?"
Selyse closed her eyes, and concentrated hard, trying to extend her consciousness the way her mother had taught her. But there was little she could see. Without thinking, she took Jon's clammy hand in her little one and held it as she concentrated. For a long time nothing happened, but then Selyse squeezed the knight's hand and Jon saw that she was cold and shivering.

Jon looked at her and then laughed nervously. "My brother is not dead, little one. No blade of Dorne could defeat my brother in battle. No, I promise you, Lewys will not die through battle, he's too smart."

Selyse choked and began clawing her throat desperately, her eyes wide open, bulging.

Scav sat at a far table well away from the high-borns, as he chewed on a goat leg, and complained to anyone who would listen that he didn't get to split the skull of one of those red priest scum.

Jon rushed to the girl, panicking. "What is it? Are you choking?" He shook the girl forcefully, confused.
OOC: Stranger/Smith, since all this is happening in one day, I am continuing to RP, but it should be understood that Jon left days ago with his 800 men and probably has just arrived at the mustering army at Deep Den.
