A group of assassins are trying to kill Lady Hogg. Bromwell is noteworthy swordsmanship, noteworthy stealth, apprentice crossbow, apprentice speed and novice tracking (like spotting and keeping targets). He is on top of a building, about to shoot at Lady Hogg with his crossbow. Everyone else participating in this should post their stats. This can always be retconned if an admin thinks it was unfairly done.
Brom's bonus to crossbow: 70
125 to kill target, 115 to wound target, 105 to hit one of her guards, 90 to hit one of her maidens.
Brom shoots: 122
Lady Hogg takes a serious injury, as the bolt takes her hard in the shoulder, she falls to the ground losing blood rapidly. Her guards pull out their swords to defend her. One picks her up and starts carrying her away to saftey as quickly as possible, while the other moves behind them, walking backwards and looking the attackers.

Nero throws two poisonous knives at the injured Lady Hogg from an alleyway. Before running away again
NPC so should be apprentice at that.

The assassin fires again, but a maiden enters the path of the quarrel, which sprouts between her breasts like a violent flower.
Nero: 145
Nero steps into the light for a moment, and hurls his dagger at the downed Lady Hogg. The guards, their attention focused on the crossbowman, miss his accomplice, and the dagger slams into the woman's back.
From the groan, and the location of the blade, it is immediately clear to Nero that he has gotten the kill.
