Tristeza washed, rested, and ordered a meal large enough for two in anticipation of her brother's iminent arrival.

It felt great to see his sister again. Elijah could not help but to break out a rare smile, "Sister, you look well. It's great to see you again."

"I've two men that are downstairs with something that belongs to you," Elijah said as he surveyed the chambers.

Tristeza stood as her brother entered, a smile on her face, though it was less rare than his. "I am less than well, but more than poor." she told him, taking him into a tight embrace; "How have you been?"

Elijah returned his sister's embrace and then held her at arm's length, "I'm the same really. My foolish quest for treasure netted me naught, but the sating of my hot blood. As I'm sure you are aware, Andrew Wyl is an embezzler. That's what my men have downstairs; the remainder of his takings. Enough about that though. You are unwell? What can I do to ease your pain?"
Elijah knew that his sister was very strong. The concern in her voice was disconcerting.

"Indeed, I was aware." she answered, her voice low with disapproval for her once interim-leader. "it sparked a considerable amount of dissent amongst the court. Perhaps it was imprudent of me to name him; yet he always struck me as an intelligent man, certainly not kind, but wise. I did not expect him to act so irrationally. I am glad to hear you have recovered at least some of the money he took--it will gratify the court to have it back."
"As to my state of mind--tensions rise in the North as we speak. Dorne will be at war soon. I am not fond of military conflict. Its cost is too high, and it taxes both the treasury, and the population."

"One has to do as one must," Elijah said, "We have only our instincts to guide us. I'll have the guards drop the strongbox in the coffers."
He took a deep breath and sighed, "I'd heard rumours of much distress and fighting in many parts of Westeros and beyond. I'm at your disposal. My strengths may lie in words, but I'm adept with actions, as well."

She smiled wearily at her brother; "My first request is that you move yourself from the sordid inn, to the Tower; it is both more fitting of your name, and more comfortable. You will be safe here. We have come to the point where all we can do is sit, and wait of news."

"I'll have Holland transport my things from the inn," Elias said, "It will be good to finally well and truly home. As to the waiting, I've always been a patient man. Perhaps, though, as we sit; we can prepare."

"Indeed." Tristeza answered, "Though I believe there is little we will be able to prepare so far from the front as well are."

OOC: Sorry, Elijah, there has been some debate as to whether or not Tristeza actually would have been able to leave the harbor under the circumstances at King's Landing--let's let that be resolved, and then we will proceed as necessary. Sorry for the inconvienience, hope we will be able to continue soon. ; )

"It's one of the strengths of our people; being far removed from much of the drama that comes along with the game of thrones. If they bring the war into Dorne, however; they will be swiftly introduced to another of our strengths, our land itself," Elijah said firmly.
"You seem to be most weary, dear sister," Elias stood, "If I could trouble you for another embrace, I'll see to moving back into the Tower."

OOC: Okay, all better.
Tristeza stood up with none of the grace that pregnancy ill-affords. She embraced her long absent brother fully, glad to see him safe once more. "We will dine with the court tonight, if you are so inclined, dear brother. If not, I will send a meal for us both to your chambers, and I will dine seperately with you--this child I carry has more of an appetite than I can remember having even as a grown woman, and I think two suppers will not tarnish it for too long."
