Yeah, but the Rivermen didn't send soldiers, they only sent ships with crews, to transport your soldiers across the water. My numbers are more realistic because since the whole battle was instigated by you we can't expect you to come away with the smallest number of losses.

If you read the original post, I had 10,000 men. 2,000 of those were riverlanders. There is 20 ships. 20 multiplied by 100 is 2,000. That means they had 100 per ship, not 50.
It matters not who led the attack. They had the most ships sunk; I doubt the westermen who are less skilled at sailing demanded to take over the rivermen ships but still made them crew the ship.
You can't "penalize" the defeated commander by saying he lost the most men, because it was his fault they lost. It may have been his fault, but I don't think that automatically means that his allies couldn't have lost more men.
