Alexander smiles, "Well excellent, I would of liked to have had your services earlier during the construction project, the paperwork all but killed my writting hand. Of course those were still peaceful times. " Alexander paused before continuing, "I am not sure what the Lord Regent intends for us, but until then I guess all we can do is prepare. The men have some basic training in swordsmanship but could use some drilling on battle strategy, I am sure you would be up for training them?"

"If that is what you want me to do Lord Irwyn, then consider it done. Which troops in particular would you have me train?"

"Well the common men are good enough alone, but they don't have much practice fighting together. Perhaps if you could supervise a small melee with training weapons that would be beneficial to work on their teamwork. Split them up into smaller groups and have them work on their movements. The whole army needs work but you can break them down into whatever size groups you think reasonable."
Ser Gilbert shook his head, even on his wedding day Alexander was thinking too much about business. "Right, but nobody's training anyone until we celebrate your marriage properly," Ser Gilbert said trying to change the subject.
