Dacey smiled, "I know," she said with a sigh what did you think of our dealings with Princess Martell, I found the announcement quite peculiar, she seemed no friend of Andry while we talked to her."

"Yes. It was odd. But what little I know of her comes from Francis, who does not have many kind words to say for Dornish anything. But I imagine if she was lying to anyone, it was to us."

"Yes but then why show us the body of that faceless creature? I trust her not, but it seemed a strange way to make a point even for a snake." Dacey responded.

"I don't know. It doesn't make any sense to me, but than what do I know." Anne sighed. "Just a year ago I was at the Downs, no faceless things, not Dornish witches." The lady of Stoatheart frowned slightly. "But no Francis either. So I guess this is the price of an interesting husband."

"Indeed I believe the Volantis have an ancient curse that says, may you live in interesting times." Dacey says, "it seems fitting now with the chaos that grips our land."

Anne nodded. "I don't know what was more frustrating. Having Francis out there somewhere and not being able to see him, or having him here at Stoatheart and STILL not being able to see him. All he does is sit up in the maester's tower sending ravens. and yet none ever come back."

"Its a lonely time for all, I think. It is times like these that I miss my father, he always seemed to know how to cheer me up when I was blue."

"I understand. I'm sure we could do with his help now. I hope your brother can fill his father's shoes."

"Steffan has spirit, although he has always struggled to escape from mother's smothering. I am sure he will find his own stride."

"You know who your mother needs to meet? Lady Ilisebeth, Francis' mother. The two would get along swimmingly. I'm sure it would be hell to pay for the rest of us, but they'd enjoy it."

"As long as Lady Ilisebeth does not mind not talking much then I am sure they would be fine companions my mother never ceases with her droning." Dacey mimicks her mother's preachy tone and then falls over laughing

Anne giggles, and than laughs loudly along with the Irwyn girl. The noise makes Cyrus begins to cry, and she stops, and stands to pick him up, where upon he stops.
"He hates being alone. He got that from me, not from Francis I'm sure." She says, as she rocks the baby quietly.
"You shouldn't be so hard on your mother. She just wants whats best for you I'm sure."

"I know," Dacey responds dejectedly, "I think she is unhappy and tries to live vicariously through me and Steffan. She is always pushing us so hard." Dacey stands and walks towards Cyrus, "so do you and hav Francis have plans for another?"

Anne blushed slightly at the question. "Yes, but it's hard to think about with all this uncertainty, I'm sure if things were peaceful Francis would not rest until he convinced me to have another."

"Did you know Cyrus was going to be a boy?" Dacey said as she put her hand on her stomach, "the way this one kicks it must be a boy or a girl as stubborn as me."
