The Myrmen nods, "That is acceptable. We will begin to move at a prudent speed and if the opprotunity to strike becomes available we will take it."

Ser Kenning looks at the mean incredously.
"So you speak for the Magisters? I will get to the point- Lord Maurin Lannister is interested in your fleet, to oppose the Ironborn. In exchange, he offers his wealth and friendship. After all, didn`t you suffer enough from Ironborn piracy?"

Curzen frowns distastefully, "We have more issues with local pirates. And we are already wealthy. As for friendship... well."

"City of Braavos has been making quite an effort to find friends in Westeros. Perhaps you should follow this example... in more subtle ways, of course. With the hostility between Westerosi and Braavos, your opportunities to make business are greater."

Curzen spits, "You think friendship is what Braavos was seeking? Look at the world my friend with open eyes. Every Westeros Lord now runs to Braavos to seek his approval for every plot. Braavos is half way to taming the wild dog your land is."

Kenning laughs.
"You underestimate my land, Braavos may gain influence, but our Lords are too proud to aknowledge its superiority for long. The issue here is the lack of strong ruler....Westeros is now a huge piece of cloth- everyone wants to crave a piece for himself- is it in the interest of Myr to let Braavos gain influence unopposed?"

"No" Curzen, "We do not. Yet we do not want Westeros to gain influence either."

"Well, all powers in Westeros are too torn against each other to threaten your power. It doesn`t mean that you cannot ensure that Braavos doesn`t end with too much power, like it almost happened last time, by having friends there... what we want is the aid of your fleet, for which we can even pay."
