Aranya didn't mount up yet - it was a waste if Kennos wasn't near. She sent her hound out to circle the company from a distance, to watch and alert them for any signs of people approaching.

Seth scowled at Aranya's comment. "I am not arguing to argue, Lady Aranya, but out of a concern for our lives. I suggested that perhaps they knew the terrain better than us, because certainly they know it better than I. But I suppose you, having hunted here many times are a match for many men who live here. I should hope so because it will greatly pick up the slack for those of us who do not know it as well. I do wonder though if it is difficult to navigate through the woods when you are quite obviously in the raging cycle of your moon blood." Seth said, his voice dripping with contempt.
Seth turned from her and climbed his horse. He restrung his bow and awaited instructions from Rhodri.

Aerie blinked at Seth in surprise and couldn't supress a snigger. As soon as it had passed, she regained her cool composure and swung lithely unto Anarchy, patrolling their borders.

Seth's horse bucked him off, whinnying. Aranya climbed Captain Snow calmly. "Having trouble? I would have thought even a Reachman could ride."
Seth's horse cantered away. Aranya's hound was snarling.

Aerie couldn't help it. She dissolved into a fit of laughter, doubling over in her saddle and shaking with such amusement that Anarchy flicked a worried ear in her direction, shifting his feet nervously. "It seems his horsemanship leaves much to be desired, Aranya," Aerie snorted, grinning at her appreciatively.

Aranya winked. "A poor horseman with poor manners. Now strap on your sword and come with me." She turned Captain Snow away gently. Others were sniggering - nobody but Aerie and Rhodri knew of Aranya's powers.
The hound still looked ferocious, but turned to follow Aranya's horse.

ooc: I love how you keep forgetting about the ferocious hound "A tragic combination," Aerie agreed, still giggling. She wheeled her courser around, patting his neck soothingly before she squeezed him after Captain Snow.

OOC: I know The hound wagged his tail at Anarchy, and trotted between the coursers as the women rode to join Rhodri, Roland and the other knights.

Anarchy snorted happily, trying valiantly to sniff the brindle's golden head while he trotted.

OOC: I'm going to say you would need an admin to roll that, as it was very quick and you cant just instantly leap into a foreign mind.

The dog licked Anarchy's nose.

OOC: I'm going to say there would be different types of rolling needed. She may be a master, but it is Seth's horse, a foreign mind, and Seth is an expert horseman. Unless Gaea says its okay I am going to assume it didn't happen.

As the horse bucks Seth, he falls hard to the ground, barely bale to get in his saddle before it happened. As such, the fall is at a strange angle and there is an audible crack as Seth hits the ground, and lays there unmoving.

Rhodri rushes over to the prone Lord Falgrave, wondering what happened to his horse. He rolls Seth over, and doesn't see any damage to the head, but the shoulder and arm are twisted out of socket. With a grimace, Rhodri pops the shoulder back into the joint. He reckons it is good that Seth in unconscious for this.
