Out of the corners of her eyes, Aerie caught Seth staring at her. She threw him a flat look and turned her back on him firmly.

Seth frowned. I must have done something... He thought to himself, though what he did not know.

"We don't need this," Aranya said harshly. "I have my hound. Give me Kit Kidwell's scent, and we'll track him down without this mute ass."

Aerie's mood brightened considerably. "Yes, perhaps that is what we should do." She was growing tediously impatient.

Aranya whistled, and her golden brindle hound came from the back of the party. "Does anyone have anything belonging to Kit Kidwell?"

"Wouldn't do any good. His scent would be cold long before we even got here." Seth said to Aranya. "Might as well have left them back in King's Landing."

"It has only been two days. My hound has an uncommon nose. But as you will."

OOC: Did any of the bandits escape, Rhodri?

OOC: According to Gaea's rolling, we absolutely slaughtered them.

The little hound growled at Ulf Storm, but quieted after Aranya scratched him behind the ears. He could smell the slaughter around them, but his nose could pick out individual scents too, even if they were days old.

Aerie leaned close to Aranya. "Your dog looks eager enough. Perhpas we should do this our way before Keath manages to slip away once again."

A white buck wanders through the grove, pausing to fix Aranya in the eye, before wandering on into the trees.

The hound lowered his head, eyes gleaming, eager to leap after the stag.
"I think we can try," Aranya said. "Find me something of Kit Kidwell's."

Aerie looked at the strange white buck and grinned suddenly. "It looks like your little friend would like a chat. Perhaps he would like to help us out."

OOC: Aranya and Aerie do not even know we are looking for Kit Kidwell. His name has never been mentioned. Rhodri said he was searching for a knight who was his friend, and neither of you asked directly about it. Aranya doesn't even know Kidwell lives, as far as I know.
