"And what do you think?" Aranya smiled.

Roland grinned, "I think she has a fine point. Shall we meet after the melee has concluded?"

"I would be glad to," Aranya smiled. "Get some rest tonight." As the feast concluded, she left, leading the others out.

Aranya returns to the Dun Fort, and silently motions for Perra to take the babies and Rhae to the nursery. The castlefolk and her sworn knights notice that she looks troubled and worried.

A message arrives by courier from the Bloody Gate addressed to Aranya. It reads:
Aranya,
Ser Daven told me that you had come by looking for me. I apologize that I missed you. I arrived just a couple of days after you had departed. He mentioned that you spoke with him at some length regarding your upbringing at the Bloody Gate. Next time we meet, I'd like to spend some time discussing it with you. It is a perspective I'd like to better understand.
Roland Royce.

A few days after receiving Roland's letter, the news of the Reach broke, and Piers Bettley called the crownland banners to war. Grimly satisfied, Aranya readied herself for battle.

A lone man in simple red robes greets them. His hair is a vibrant scarlet and his face is rudely shaven, but his face is gentle and peaceful. He is unarmed.
"Welcome to Duskendale... I hope the changes we have wrought upon it did not startle you." He has a surprisingly calming smile.

"Just some crazy fanatics. I'll do the talking though. Just keep looking at the people around us." Tallahar whispers to Sarin.
Riding forward a bit Tallahar smiles, "It all seems rather Red. First I would like to know who you are?"

"I am known as Pylos the Apostate. My apostasy is a tale of a different calibre than the one you seek, but for now, you may assume this town is under my care."
As he speaks, young women and children begin stacking wood nearby into serveral large piles, most which are already quite large. There is already ash upon the ground...
"You have no need to introduce yourself, Tallahar Tyrell. You are a different sort of lord of light, Dawn Raider, but R'hllor said you would come..."

"Well thats good of R'hllor to tell you ahead of my arrival. Pylos the matter is simple. There are many men in Kings Landing who do not like what you have done here in Duskendale. That is why I am here to collect you. Do Pylos could you please saddle a horse and ride with me we must return to Kings Landing soon."

"Of course, you will have my full cooperation. However, there is something I think you should see before we leave..."
He directed Tallahar's attention to the children stacking wood. With a nod from Pylos, each produced a small bottle with piece of cloth stuffed into the mouth and and a match.
"Here in Duskendale, we do not have the benefit of wildfire, but we do have plenty of burning oil... there are piles and similar fire-bearers in every hallway in the Dun Fort and every building in Duskendale. If I am not returned unharmed or if any of your soldiers dare to encroach upon this hallow ground or harm a single one of my students, we will burn your port to the ground and you will gain nothing for your brutality..."

Tallahar grows angry at this. His face is red, "You would dare challenge my honour as a Knight. Your are coming to Kings Landing as a quest so you shall be treated as one." Turning his horse Tallahar nods at his men, "Saddle your horse I shall be waiting outside the gates."

He nods. " I shall be there in moments."
