"Indeed?" The patchwork knight says, "I've heard of your... brother, is it? The Sword of the Morning. Let's hope your star will rise as high as his, eh?"
The patchwork knight and the knight of the black ring hear Vance and Aranya's suggestion for them to fight, and exchange glances.
Then the patchwork knight steps forward and says, "M'lord and lady, I have fought with my good companion many a time in practice. Surely you would not have us travel so many thousands of leagues to this grand tourney only to fight each other?!" The patchwork knight laughs lightly. It's obvious that he's the talker of the two. "I would be obliged to fight any other contender you put forth, however."

Aranya just grinned at Vance.
When the Patchwork knight stepped forward, Aranya shrugged and said, "Why don't you challenge Ser Auron Dayne?"

"Dayne already awaits Ser Roland, mi'lady; would you set that match aside?" Ser Vance asks.

Aranya frowned. "Ah, yes, I forgot of that." She smiled then. "Perhaps if you could ask Prince Steffon instead."

"The Patchwork Knight versus Prince Steffon Baratheon? A perfect choice." Vance says.

OOC: Since Horas isn't here.
The Knight of the Black Ring taps the shield of Ser Patrek and then goes back to his position near the Patchwork Knight.

Aranya saw Roland defeat Auron Dayne.
"You're certainly doing well, my young horseman!" she called down, smiling. "And you rode well too, Ser Auron."

Ser Roland wheeled the courser 'round and offered Ser Auron a salute as he rose. In response to Aranya's he gave a quick smile and nod.

"Huzzah for Ser Roland!" Ser Vance shouts. In explanation, he offers "The better he does, the better my loss looks."

The two mystery knights line up for their jousts. The knight of the black ring makes for an imposing sight, easily towering over his foe.
The smaller patchwork knight looks decidedly less intimidating as he faces off against the Baratheon prince. He takes a lance to the chest in his first pass and is unhorsed in the second.
The patchwork knight gets to his feet somewhat slowly, rubbing his chest. "You're a good lance, m'lord prince!" he calls out to the Baratheon. Then he cartwheels over to the stands and takes a seat next to the other watchers.

Aranya leaned over to Anya. "Your brother-in-law is certainly acquitting himself well, my lady."

The knight of the black ring charges down the lists, his lance exploding into the lackluster Ser Patrek Harte. Harte is flung from the saddle, and the massive knight of the black ring goes to take his place among the champions.

Aranya leaned over to Anya. "Your brother-in-law is certainly acquitting himself well, my lady." "He's a sneaky little weasel just like his brother" she says sourly.

Between tilts, Beaumarin the Beauty comes out to entertain the waiting crowd with ribald jokes and raunchy songs.
