Ser Erik stands next to the Queen he had not spent a lot of time with so he wished to get to know her better. As he stands he asks the queen, "I must hope that these squires do a good enough show for you Your Grace." Anya looks across at the white knight. "Ser...Erik, isn't it? You and Roland look so alike it is hard to tell at times. My, what a fine man you look in that armour" she purrs "As for these hedge knights and squires, I don't expect much. That prancing dandy" she says, pointing at Vance Hardyng "looks more suited to silks than steel" she smiles when she watches Ser Roland Royce defeat him "See?" she says in a mocking tone.

Anya Baratheon flanked by two of the King's Guard enters the Stands and makes for Aranya's box. She smiled at Aranya and the Lords sitting around her. "I decided to get away from the city for a short trip. I have not been able to ride for several months. I heard about your small tourny and decided to stop and watch the competetion. You never know when you are going to spot some new and exciting talent." Aranya smiled and welcomed the Queen into her box. "I am pleased to have you, my lady. I hope you will find the tournament interesting. I enjoy spotting new talent as well." Aranya smiled at the Queen's words. "I don't know about that, my lady. He fared well in King's Landing, losing only to the Sword of the Morning."

After his victory, Marten rides towards where Lady Aranya sits, and gives her a bucket of flowers.
"Please forgive me for unseating your champion...it seems that he is just past his prime."
Then he notices the Queen, surprised, and gives flowers to her as well.
"My Queen, I am honored by your presence."- He remembers that she is of House Stark....

Anya looked annoyed at being interrupted while talking to Ser Erik but composed herself when she saw who it was "Ah, Lady Aranya. Perhaps just an off day then? Maybe if that prancing poppinjay spent less time ogling servant girls and more time thinking about his wooden lance as opposed to his fleshy one then he would not have been unhorsed"
She nods at Marten when he arrives "Well fought, Lannister."

Anya appraises the young man "Oh yes. You're one of Yvonne's boys aren't you? You have her eyes but you seem more lioncub than wolfcub to me"

Roland knew his final hit on the Knight of Diamonds was a particularly nasty one. He brought his horse to a stop and dismounted, running over to make sure his fellow Valeman was okay.

"I begin to think Ser Marten is more Lannister than Stark. Why else would he withdraw?" Aranya grinned.

"Well, I have never been in the North much....perhaps it should change. It is terrible what happened to House Stark and its realms. I heard that King is going North right now?"- Marten wonders if Anya has much sentiment for her family.

Anya sneers "Yes, with Lord Bolton. It turns my stomach that such as him sits in my brother's seat. It will be Rickon's birthright though, soon enough." She looks fairly seething with anger.

"I thought the King had meant for the Stark bastard to rule there," Aranya said innocently.

Anya snarls at Lady Aranya "No bastard shall be Lord of Winterfell while I live!"

"I have no doubt you will be able to convince the King of that, my lady." Aranya's gaze pierced the Queen. Over the past few months, Aranya had come to realize exactly how deep the Queen was. When her third eye was open, Aranya had been disquieted by what she saw.
"I have two infants about the same age as the princelings," Aranya smiled. "I understand how you feel."

Anya looked at Aranya with an amused smile "Oh really? You know how I feel? So you've had your family's birthright given away, and had your children's inheritance bartered like a piece of meat at a market stall? I think not" she said frostily.

Marten stares at the argument for a moment, wondering.
"My Queen, could we speak in private for a moment?"
