OOC: Roland, that was just my joke at the fact we're still waiting on the tourney to start. You just happen to be Vance's opponent.
IC: "We shall see about that, then, won't we?" Ser Vance returns to Aranya.

OOC: Oh okay, good then, didn't want for me to be the holdup.

"Perhaps. Now focus on riding your horse, Vance." She grinned and turned to walk back to the stands.

Steffon watched and listened to the conversations with a subtle, bemused expression. "When shall we see which of you falls the fastest? Perhaps you, Ser Vance? Once can only ride so hard for so long before missing his mark with his...lance."

"We've had quite the trickle of uninvited tourney attenders, have we not?" Auron said to no one in particular, as he watched both men get ready to joust.

The Patchwork Knight trots his horse up to the knot of knights. He hears Auron's comment as he nears.
"My pardons, good ser. I was unaware I needed an invitation. Is there someone I should speak with?"

"No my fine ser, it is quite all right. Just more people for me to fight now!" Auron said, grinning at the stranger. "My name is Auron Dayne. What is your name, fellow knight?"

"They call me the Patchwork Knight," the man says, avoiding the question. "But you're a Dayne, are you? What brings you all the way from Dorne?"

Aranya saw the mystery knights and walked over to greet them. "Welcome to Duskendale. I am flattered that you saw fit to come with your faces and sigils hidden," she said with a smile.
Rhae Rykker was now positively hanging out of the lord's box, staring at the Prince and then at then at everyone else.

"Flattered, m'lady?" the Patchwork Knight laughs, "How can you sure we aren't just common rogues and outlaws, come to rob you of your well earned gold?"

Anya Baratheon flanked by two of the King's Guard enters the Stands and makes for Aranya's box. She smiled at Aranya and the Lords sitting around her. "I decided to get away from the city for a short trip. I have not been able to ride for several months. I heard about your small tourny and decided to stop and watch the competetion. You never know when you are going to spot some new and exciting talent."

Ser Erik stands next to the Queen he had not spent a lot of time with so he wished to get to know her better. As he stands he asks the queen, "I must hope that these squires do a good enough show for you Your Grace."

It takes six passes for Ser Harmond Locke to defeat Ser Sylas Wyl, but it was not six passes of glory. Most charges were futile, poorly aimed lances riding up above the shield or making no contact at all. The crowd boos and hisses until Ser Harmond finally unhorses the champion.

Aranya groaned when Marten Lannister defeated Ser Denys, but looked pleasantly surprised when Roland actually defeated Ser Vance.
