OOC: Aranya killed the Sword Shaman
Aranya whipped around as she heard the spear shaman charging, and ducked and rolled at the last instant.

Horas races his horse back across the summit, cutting the warlock off. He swings from the saddle and lands on his feet, facing the warlock.

The Warlock spits at Horas, "Leave me be, you have walked some of the roads I have, we are brothers.
Yohn and the Eyeless man have been staring at each other in some unseen contest of wills for several long minutes.

Time slows down. Selwyn sees the Spear Shaman lunge at Aranya, and without thought, leaps over the rocks to catch the blow, bringing his sword down in an overhead motion onto the man's skull.

Fryse cleaves through the clansmen attacking Marq and Geral, with the two archers shooting point blank into the faces and exposed limbs of the clansmen.

Aranya sliced deep into the abdomen of the spear Shaman, and then turned and blocked the blows from the sword shaman, fighting with lightning speed.

The Spear Shaman runs Selwyn through the gut with his too long spear.
One of the archers falls, but Fryse saves his life as he cuts down their attackers from behind

Horas watches the Warlock, surprisingly calm for a man with no weapon in the middle of a vicious melee. He takes two steps forward, closing the gap between them.
"How long have you studied at the House of the Undying, brother?" Horas asks.

The Spear Shaman falls from the vicous cut from Aranya, his spear still trapped in Selwyn's body.
The Warlock holds the baby in front of him like a shield.

Aranya took the head off the spear Shaman, and then dropped to her knees beside Selwyn. She carefully pulled the spearhead out.

She ripped cloth from her shirt and used the bandages to stem the blood flow. "You'll be all right," she said, her hands shaking. "You'll be all right."

Selwyn gasps, he's struggling to breath. He tries to undo the strap holding his helmet so he can breathe.
