Felryn smiles, "for the sake of you and your men I hope you do, or you'll all spend your last few days among the living in blinding pain."
Felryn calls to the guard, "have Harras cleaned up and washed and given a proper meal."

//////////
The men who served the brothers Greyjoy groan often and loudly as they wither, months flying by. Most call out for forgiveness for their trespass, for they only served their captains faithfully. Some ask simply for freedom, offering wealth and secrets from the east for their freedom. And small few others beg for mercy, wishing for a clean death rather than their slow rotting demise.

They are taken out individually and beaten until they learn to stay quiet.

They cry silent tears as they are interred once again in their dank cells.
Crying tears of the forsaken.

Surri Saltcliffe breaks the neck of his cellmate in the middle of the night for being such a whiney bitch.

The broken body of the cellmate rots, and stinks of dung and corruption. This thick miasma has little room to disperse in the cramped cell, and it's not likely to be removed by a Harlaw guard anytime soon.

Surri strings the body up against the bars of his cell as a makeshift scarecrow to warn the rest of the prisoners about doing any more crying. They're supposed to be Ironborn, damnit.

The dead man would go on to justify that somehow the salt of his tears were warranted by the will of the Drowned God, or somesuch nonsense, if he were still breathing.

Surri thanks the Drowned God that, once again, his cellmate is not breathing, and therefore cannot offer annoying opinions about theology or any other subject.

The cellmate continues to rot and fester at Surri, raising a very unpleasant stink.

Erik is brought down into the dungeons by a gaoler a few days after he comes to power. He inspects all the prisoners, looking specifically for Harral Greyjoy.

During King Erik's search, many of the ironmen and mongrels that sailed far and wide with the brothers Andrik and Ulfrik Greyjoy call out in withered voices to be released, praising their new kraken king.

Erik makes sure to take the time to speak to each man. Those determined to have truly been under the Greyjoy brothers' command are freed before the day is out, and given a hot meal and a position on one of the ships of the fleet.
