When he left his father's chambers, he didn't head for his mother's chambers, instead he asked a guard where he could find the old man that had wanted to talk to him earlier. The guard showed him the way to Maester Grimons chamber, where he hopefully would find the old man. He knocked on the door and when a voice answered he entered.
"Maester Grimon, I'm sorry for not having time to talk to you earlier, but I needed to talk with my father, but now I'm here. What was it you wanted to talk with me about"
He looked at Maester Grimon, wondering what the old man wanted.

When Derrick Mallister is brought before Lord Balor he is still weeping a bit.

Balor concealed his disgust with effort and said "Did you hear my conditions, Mallister? Or shall I repeat myself?"

Still with tears pouring down his face he says, "I'll do it. Whatever it is I will do it. Please let me. What else can I do." Mallister's body is racked sorrowful wails that intermingle with his words.

Balor looked on incredulously. He waved at the guards to return Mallister to his cell for now. There would be no point at questioning such a snivelling coward. After they left he folded his arms across his chest and said to Halon "That is the heir of our most ardent foe? I'm near tempted to return him. I wonder if Lucas will send me a reward?" He shook his head "I can only guess that he was a mere figurehead during the battle. The true captain of the fleet must have been amongst the dead or on the Sea Eagle. A shame. I suppose we should inform Lucas that his son still lives, though what can be gained by having such as that as a hostage we will see, I suppose."

He walked slowly to his mother's chamber, as he was in no hurry to see his mother crying. His thoughts were still on Grimon's words: Do you have any unusual dreams?. He didn't know what do believe, he had one dream that had been diffrent then the rest, but he couldn't say why. He shook his head, as he didn't want to remember that dream.
It wasn't the question that disturbed him so, it was the tone the maester had. The crew on the Vicious Knave had always said, that he had a unnatural luck as to find land, even when there was no land to be seen. They had said that the drowned god guided his sight sometimes, so some of the crewmembers had stayed away from him. He finally came to the door of his mother's. He exhaled before knocking at the door and entering.

"Come in!!" he heard Meera's shrill voice yell "Hush, Meera!" he heard his mother interupt. A few moments later she opened the door and smiled at Sabastian "Come in, son". As Sabastian walked in he could see Meera playing with Urri. They seemed to be playing the Finger Dance but with blunted wooden daggers. He could see bruises on both their hands, though more on Urri's. Obviously they weren't very good. "Hullo, Sab!" Meera shouted cheerfully, waving her hand and nearly smacking Urri on the head with her wooden dagger.

He stood silent for a while. not really knowing what to say at first. He smiled and nodded towards Meera. He found he liked his little sister, she was a ironborn from top til bottom.
"There's something I need to tell you, mother" He took a breath before he continued "I'm leaving, I have to go to Volantis and do something, please don't ask me what, because I don't know. It's like the drowned god is pulling me to sea, needing me to do something for him"
He stopped talking and looked at her, realizing he couldn't ask her to let him take Meera with him. She wouldn't survive losing all of her children at the same time.

Asha's face fell at the news but she was not surprised. Once she heard about his new ship, she knew he would leave soon. The salty sea ran through the veins of the Greyjoy's and they could not long resist it's siren call. "Oh, all the way to Volantis?" Asha looked worried "Well, take good care of yourself. Those tattooed heathens are near as bad as the Ghisari!" Urri and Meera looked saddened by the news of his departure. Urri looked close to tears and Meera pouted saying "Oh poo! You're the only in'tresting person I've talked to in ages, and you never told me all the stories of your adventures you said you would"

He nodded to his mother, not wanting to say anything that would hurt her even more than he knew he was already doing. He walked over to Meera and knelt before her.
"I'm sorry, little sister. I wish I could take you with me, so I could show you what life on the sea really means, but I need you to stay here and take care of our mother" He looked up at his mother and rose.
He gave her mother a quick hug, before heading towards the door.

Gedrick passed the courtyard quickly, not meeting the eyes any of the familiar or answering them when they said hello. He stood before Lord Balor's private chambers. He exhaled loudly, before giving a loud knock on the door.

Gedrick stared at the floor, sweat glistened on his forehead. When he finally looked up, Balor could see something that could only be described as regret.
"We ran into a storm, my liege." He silenced for a little while before he continued "Sabastian was a good captain, knowing just how too keep the men in check" He wanted to make Balor proud of his son, before Gedrick told him the bad news. "We have brought with us quarry from one of our reavings. You would have been so proud of him, my lord."
He didn't know what to say next, so he stood there in silence.

Balor sat in stunned silence. "He...he's dead?" he said in a disbelieving tone. "How?" He got up, his face pale, and walked across to the window, looking out as if searching. Gedrick barely heard Balor whisper "I never should have sent him out so soon"

Gedrick sighed and retold Balor how Sabastian had fallen overboard during the storm. He heard the sadness on his lord's voice, and he could see the hurt for a second.
"We searched for him when the storm settled, but the drowned god had already claimed him" Gedrick said with sadness on his voice "I'm so sorry, my lord. I'll accept any repercussions from that may come out of this"
He bowed his head, but didn't move
