Amdle was indeed grumpy. He had gone from virgin to sex toy in a blink of an eye. While he had no intention of returning his virginity being woman-handled by Bertha the One-Eyed was not his idea of amusement.
He walked out to the beach and started practicing his archery once again. The Iron Islanders would scoff at such an unmanly weapon but a shaft in time saved many a swordsman and axe-wielder. It was an art suited to a silent, patient man.
His own personal axe-wielder, Bella, in the meantime had stomped up to Balor's apartments.
"Bloody weather," she spat. "What are your plans now?"

Balor sat in the his chair, casually studying the map of westeros in front of him as Bella appeared. Halor sat in another chair and looked annoyed as Bella burst into the room. Balor's eyebrows raised amusedly at her impudence. "What indeed" he said, "Thanks to the Coward King on the Iron Throne, our options are somewhat limited. I hear even the Dornish are mobilising against me?" he smiled. "They are welcome to try, of course. It would take the combined fleets of Westeros to land on our shores and I think they have not the heart" He mused, looking further at the map "Still, it would not do to sit idly by while our enemies plot around us. What you you suggest, Bella?" he said, smiling slightly as Halor glowered at his sister.

Bella's axe came whistling down on Seaguard.
"A jewel waiting to be grabbed, me thinks," she said, the glint of battle already shining in her eyes.

Halon smiled at his sister's audacity. Balor merely raised an eyebrow, saying "Perhaps, but a closely guarded one. Still, an idea with merit. Let me think on it"

Bella grinned her crooked toothed grin and retrieved her axe with a flip.
"Just let me know when you're ready to decide. I find myself hungry for soft flesh."

Bella walked through the main courtyard of Pyke with Sabastian in tow. Spotting a couple of ironborn playing the finger dance nearby she hollered out "Hey Theon! Where's Balor?". The burly ironborn turned his head from the contest and frowned for a second "I think he's in the main hall, Bella" and turned back to the game. She nodded and muttered "Yeah, where else?" and walked through the kraken marked doors into the main chamber. At the far end sat a youngish looking man wearing a coral circlet and a black cloak emblazoned with the golden kraken. He was talking with another older man. Bella yelled across the room "Ho, Balor! Looked what washed in with the tide!" she pushed Sabastian forward, grinning broadly, and he stumbled slightly.

He stumbled slightly, as Bella pushed him forward towards his father. He regained his footing and made his way up to where his father was seated. He studied his father, he looked thinner and a bit older than when he had seen him last, but other than that he hadn't changed much over the years.
He bowed his head lightly, but that was as much reverence as he gave his father. There was a lot he wanted to know about what had happen during the years. He wondered if his brother and sister still lived here, and how his mother was doing, but he just stood there letting his father take the first step. He wouldn't show himself weak.

Lord Balor studied his son coolly, without a flicker of emotion on his face. "Sabastian" he said "You're looking well. I have heard good things about you from Rurick. He seems to think you deserve a ship of your own to command" his voice gave no indication as to whether he approved of this or not "What do you think?" he continued, tilting his head slightly.
The older man looked at Sabastian & threw him a wink and a quick grin.

Nothing had changed much, his father was still unable to give a hint of emotion, so Sabastian decided to play the same game. He stood there for a while, before he answered with a calm and steady voice
"I let that decision lay in the hands of the drowned god. What I think is not important, but I would accept the offer if it was granted.
He then bowed his head slightly once more. He looked around the main hall, letting the place sink in. He was back. Now his new life began.

Balor's eyebrow raised at his son's reply and his lips quirked in a supressed smile "A good answer. Perhaps it is time for, ah - the Young Seagull, wasn't it?" he looked at Halon for confirmation who nodded and smiled briefly at this "To spread his wings a little. Go and speak with your mother. She has missed you these many years. Urri and Meera are here as well, though the last time you saw Urri he was a babe in arms and Meera, well. It has been many years since you returned. Welcome home, Sabastian" he smiled fully this time. Halon looked to the others in the chamber and soon enough, the other ironborn in the room came up to Sabastian, clapping him on the shoulder as one of them.

He smiled and shook numerous hands before taking his leave and heading to the chamber where his mother and siblings were waiting for him. He dismissed the guard outside the room before opening the door. His mother and the two children was seated at a table when he entered. He stopped just inside.
"Mother"
Inside he was glad and grateful to be home once again, but he wasn't sure about the way his mother would react to see him, so he showed none of the feelings in his face. He looked like a younger version of his father, standing there.

There was a slightly awkward silence for a moment, then Lady Asha Harlaw rushed up and engulfed Sabastian in a huge hug "Sab!" she cried "Oh, Sab!" for a few moments she just clung on, like a sailor to a piece of driftwood in a stormy sea, her hands clutching almost painfully into his back. She pulled back a little and Sabastian could see tears rolling down her face as she looked into his. "Oh, this is like a wonderful dream!" she said, hugging him again. Sniffing, she wiped her nose on a hankerchief and turned to the two other children, shyly hiding behind her skirts. "Urri, Meera. This is your brother Sabastian!" Urri was a small, thin child with wide eyes and just looked at Sabastian and back to his mother, unsure what to do. Meera on the other hand, looked half wild and ran to Sabastian and gave him a little punch in the stomach "That's for leaving us!" she said loudly with a toothy smile on her face. "You're bigger than Urri" she said, stating the obvious.

He gave her mother a big smile and hugged her back. He then looked over to the two small children, giving them a slight nod. He faked and oof when his little sister hit him in the stomach and then he crouched so he was in her height. He had never met the girl, but he had gotten the news of her birth.
"I've missed you too, little one" He said and ruffled her hair.
He knew that he showed too much emotion at the moment, but he didn't care. He then looked at Urri with a big smile, stood up and put a hand on his shoulder.
"So this is the little baby I remember when I left"
He turned and looked at his mother. He smiled and gave her another hug, before sitting down in one of the chairs at the table.

Urri smiled a little "Mommy has told us about your adventures. I bet it was exciting" he said in an awed voice "Yeah! Tell us how many men you've killed!" Meera said with a big grin on her face "I bet it's lots!" she looked at him again "You've got funny eyes" she said "Meera!" his mother interrupted "That's not polite!" "But he has momma! Looka!" she said pointing at him with a wide grin. She just laughed and shook her head

He couldn't help laughing at Meeras statement. It was good to be here again, even if the calling of the sea never left him. There was something special about the sea, something he couldn't explain, like he had some great destiny waiting for him out there. He tried telling himself that this home, but it didn't feel quite right.
He looked at Meera and smiled.
"Things like that isn't meant for little ears like yours" He looked and smiled at his mother.
"It's alright, she's right, my eyes do looks funny. The sailor's on the ship thought I was blessed by the drowned god, that I had a special bond which gave me my luck" He paused for a moment, contemplating on what they had said "I'm just glad to be back here, let the future come when it comes"
