He rolled his eyes. He was really ashamed of Conn. The boy only lived for women and drinking, everything else was just a game to him. At least Gideon was doing something with his life, even if becoming a maester was something for weak people in Alester's book.

He didn't believe for a second that Gorben hadn't done what he said he'd done, but why continue to live in the past. Life was meant to look foward, not back.
