Ser Jaymes leaned in to whisper to the commander, who was berating the newest batch of recruits. Jaymes shot them a glance, and saw a few who looked vaguely familiar though he could not say from where. "Wildlings are gathering, Ser, north of the Antler river. They know how far our normal scouting parties travel, and they are building a camp beyond that border."

"They're the remnants of the army that Lord Stark broke on the Milkwater. They've been trickling north and east since then. Multiple thousands at least. The man I captured alive gave me details about the fort and how to get there, but he died before I could get information about numbers from him. From the tracks I saw in only one part of the Haunted Forest, there must be at least seven thousand there, the majority of them fighters."

"Seems highly unlikely." says Farrow. "Lord Stark put quite a whopping on them just a few months ago. And without a leader? No, I can't imagine it. File your report with the Maester, and if more comes of this, we'll take it to the Lord Commander."

"Yes Ser," Jaymes said, and turned and marched into Eastwatch Castle.

Tuske, with a few minutes to spare, wanders around, wondering what has happened to his brother, whom he hadn't seen since the event at the training yard.

Ser Jaymes returned from the Maester's chambers having delivered his information, and he approached the one called Tuske. "Shall we train now, do you think? I am sorry, but I was sent out on a ranging as soon as my vows were taken, it seems."

Ser Jaymes saw several strange ships in the harbor when he returned to Eastwatch from his ranging. He went immediately to request an audience with his commander, to inform him of what he had discovered.

The commander agreed to meet with Stane with great reluctance. There wasn't a wet dog's worth of difference between a wildling or a Skagosi, in his opinion, but endeavored not to show it.
Mag is lead in to the commander's solar.
"Lord Stane, welcome to Eastwatch, what can we humble servants of the Night's Watch do for you?"
