The Sea Lord played with a tile puzzle, he shifted the pieces around trying to make a picture of his seal form. He frowned and looked up from the puzzle, "Your talk distracts me. This Elane has pleased me..." Looking at the man from the Summer Islands, "...What ever your name is. So I will accept that slave as a gift, or you will not be dealing with Braavos in the future. Two of your peers are in the city now. Maybe they respect the Sea Lord more then you."
Smiling at Elane he says, "She helped me with one of my Iron Puzzles. I solved it easily with her aid. So Treemold, what is it to be?" He smiles fiercely at the man.

"But, you understand, I cannot have even a eunuch in the room on the times when I...take my pleasure. A priestess of the Moonsingers may take what she can, but eunuchs are considered unclean and offensive." She gave Xalobar a sweet, sincerely apologetic look. "I'm sure you will understand."
I am going to Seven Hells, priestess or no priestess. WHAT is coming out my mouth?
"And it would be my pleasure to give you a private supper!" Elane said in delighted voice. "Yes, of course we must have that!"

OOC: Didn't see the Smith's post, sorry.
"Thank you, High Lord."

Temilade's face darkened at the Sealord's words but he masked it well enough that only Elane caught it. He bowed graciously at Elane and said "Well, of course my lady. My humble slave is yours for the asking..." he snapped his fingers at Xalobar and he dragged Mashuda forward towards Elane, none to gently. "Milady, I look forward to our dinner. Your most august majesties, may my tokens of appreciation bring you pleasure" with a swirl of his colourful feathered cape, Temilade stalked out of the Throne Room with as much dignity as he could muster, throwing the Sealord's wife a sly wink as he did so.

The prince's fleeting expression heightened Elane's suspicions. She smiled warmly at his words and beckoned the slave over when the prince left. "You sit by me until court has ended," she ordered. "I am your mistress now." The slave boy apparently understood these clear orders, and sat obediently at the foot of her chair.
The High Lady flushed and fluttered at the prince's wink, and when the court was brought back into the room, she went into daydreams about ebony men in feather cloaks. She wondered if he'd wear pink and mauve feathers if she asked. Men did look so good in pink and mauve.

Ollo Tregario sweeps back into the Sealord's court. If he was annoyed at being escorted out a few minutes before, he shows no sign of it.
"My esteemed Sealord," Ollo says, falling into a surprisingly graceful bow for such a heavy man. "I regret tasking you so with these endless audiences, but sometimes such matters require the Sealord's attention. But first," Ollo smiles cheerfully, "I bear gifts."
Ollo Tregario claps twice and two slaves bearing a large chest move forward and set their burden down before the Sealord's chair. One opens it, and the slaves move away, bowing deeply. Ollo walks forward, picks what appears to be a box from the chest, and holds it for the Sealord's inspection.
"Puzzle boxes from Yi Ti, my Lord," Ollo says with a large smile. "They are far beyond my intellect, but I dare say your genius should make, hmmm, short work of them. You slide one panel like so, you see, but as you do so the rest move." Ollo finishes his demonstration, then bows and holds the box out for the Sealord. "I trust you will enjoy them as much as the iron puzzles I sent you last moon, my Lord."
Ollo waits for the Sealord's reaction before continuing with whatever business he came for.

Vinci Reed came storming into the room, soaked head to toe. "Those...Those Hooligans through me in the canal! All because I told one he had the distinct smell of Moonsinger seed!"

Elane smiled, not showing her consternation. "Who did it, Reed? I'll see that they are beheaded, or give them to you for your work. Now let's get you cleaned up, and if you want you can stay, otherwise you can go home and rest." She signalled to a servant, who came forward with a towel and a dish of hot water for Vinci to wash his muddy face and hands. A little bit later, another servant brought fresh, clean robes.

The Sealord clapped his hands at the puzzle boxes. "I do love these. What can I do for you my friend Ollo. I am pleased."

Elane spent some time with the boy diagnosing the problem he was having with his memories. When she thought she understood it, she placed the boy under heavy guard in a hidden chamber and then sent a boy running with a message.
The boy found the Summer Prince. "The Second Naemyr would like to invite you to her apartments for dinner tonight."

Temilade Xho sat sourly in his chambers. That meeting had not gone at all well. He would have to have Xalobar flogged for not telling him that the Sealord of Braavos was an idiot with the brain of a child.
He sneered at the summons but quickly thought of ways to turn this to his advantage. He had a long bath and wore his most colourful and exotic clothes and perfume. He oiled his chest and hair and strode off majestically, with a mere 6 servants, including Xalo and Xalobar, in attendance. He wanted this dinner to be as intimate as possible.

Elane awaited him in her dining chamber. Her long hair was braided with gold again, and her priestess robe with its slashed sleeves was tonight a muted gold-green. The only ornament she wore was the black pearl bracelet of the Moonsingers, and it glimmered on her wrist in the soft light. Only one of her attendants was there.
Elane smiled and bowed to the prince when he entered. "Welcome, Prince Temilade. I hope you are hungry this evening, for I have laid a full table." She gestured as they sat down.

Temilade let out a hearty laugh and slapped his taut stomach "Thank you, most gracious lady. I have a great appetiate...in all things". He said, giving her a wink. Sitting down he munched into a chicken leg and said "I trust my slave has pleasured you well enough?"

Mashudu studied his new housing since he had been sent off with the woman that in skin color reminded him of himself. He wondered what she wanted with him. His memories of sitting down with her talking was a bit vague.
The chamber where he had been place, was rather plain, but he suited him just fine. I've been to worse places he thought to himself, without really knowing what those places had been. There was a bed at one wall and a small table with a chair. He found it a bit odd that there were no windows. but there was light coming from somewhere, even if he hadn't figured out from where yet.
He laid down on the bed, staring at the ceiling, waiting for the woman or someone else to call for his duties. He had learned that being a slave, not only meant a lot of work, it also involved a lot of waiting. He closed his eyes, and soon he was deep in sleep.

"He is very satisfactory," Elane said, as sweet-smelling soup was served. "Very unusual in Tall Tree Town, I'm sure. I confess I'm not familiar with the Summer Islands. How many such merchant princes do you have?"
