Aranya did not comment on the way he spoke to the girl, neither did her eyes give away her observations. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Lord Delinal. Though I would prefer to speak with you privily."

The Sea Lord reclined in his seat and motioned for new tea to be fetched. He looked at the Lady Royce and answered, "I know Lord Villisander has a dark reputation but I trust him with my life and keep no secrets from him."
Villisander stared daggers at Aranya, and muttered, "Bitch" under his breath.

"I was referring to Lady Tristeza Martell," Aranya said coolly. "Though if your guard dogs don't mind their manners, I would ask them to be sent away as well."

The Sea Lord looked at Aranya, "I had thought she was the subject of the meeting?"

"Be that as it may, I do not discuss human beings as if they were dogs who can't understand me, although I see you have no problem with it."

But you can buy their lives as though they were live-stock Tristeza thought, as she shot daggers through her eyes at the Westerosi law-woman.

Villisander laughs, "How do you know dogs can not understand you?"
Nero barks out in Braavosi, "Do not taunt the bitch, she has a sharp tongue."

"And a Braavosi tongue too," Aranya answered in Braavosi. "But enough. If Lord Delinal wishes to have Tristeza Martell here, then I will begin. I come, my lord, to reach a specific agreement with you. The Iron Throne offers you an exchange. For one person, we have trade agreements to offer, a military alliance, and the sharing of intelligence and our spy networks. Braavos can finally fulfill the dreams on its towels."

Villisander laughed, "We should take that deal, Lord Delinal. I know several men and women that are not worth the cost of skinning them. Trade one of them for this marvelous deal."

Nero leaned in, ""Are the trade agreements documented on paper?"

Tristeza shot a venemous glance at Nero out of the corner of her eye.

"Yes, though both Lord Delinal and I must sign it. It has the King's seal, however."

Nero said, "May I see them then?" He held out his hand.
Villisander laughed, "When did the start buying and selling slaves in Westeros? I thought that was illegal?"

Aranya handed the papers to Nero.
"Did the tea strike you dumb, my lord?" Aranya asked the Sealord sweetly. "It is a bit lemony, isn't it?"
