Joron smiles softly and nods at Devaon.
"I'm Joron Sands, from Dorne. Daar Seluani sent me to you. Dorne needs you, and your ships."

"What the fuck do I care about Dorne. Daar is losing his damn mind. I heard that Redwyne, that pox-ridden cockless lecher sunk every ship which flew a Dornish pendant. Why would I sail my little beauties over there?"

"I don't expect you to care about Dorne, leave that part to me, but I assume you'd care about money, no?" he says and grins. "The dornish fleet was lost, but it didn't have you or your ships. If it did, I expect the outcome would've been different, or is your reputation not well earned?"

"If you care to question it, why don't you touch your blade." She says, her hand at a dagger on her belt. "Devaon of the narrow seas can take any ship a prize, but that's a different thing from fighting the Arbor Fleet my friend, far a different thing. If you had my ships, what would you be keen to do with them?"

"I don't plan to take on the enemy fleet head on, that would perhaps be noble but also very foolish. And if you haven't noticed already, I'm not the noble kind. No, what I intend is to harass their supply line, strike at any stragglers or smaller fleets that become separated from the main one. There is bound to be lots of ships loaded with loot leaving Dorne, and many full supply ships approaching."

"That seems true enough. Very well, but we sail when I want to sail, and we attack the ships I want to attack, and the contract ends when I've had enough."

"Fair enough, Devaon. We can leave as soon as you and your crew are ready."

At the port Brandon talked at lenght with Reret Nekna and a few other merchants who seemed to smile and nod. Reret's bodyguard handed Brandon a small crate, which he took with him on board on one of Reret's ships heading for King's Landing then Gulltown.

A merchant ship from Old Town arrives and the passangers step off. Among them are two men, one pale and tall, the other medium sized and tanned, dressed in the clothes of merchants. Two horses and several chests are carried out for them, and the two men and their belongings take residence in one of the cities taverns.

Mistress Ridcully tottered down, cats in her arms, while a man brought their luggage. A handsome litter was awaiting them, and a fat old lady dressed like a wealthy Braavosi was in it.
"Amrei!" she squealed. "My dear cousin, I thought your ship would never arrive!"
Mistress Ridcully looked delighted. After they had greeted each other, she said to her cousin, "This Rodwell Snow, a good boy who helped me in King's Landing. Rodwell, this is my cousin, Enid. He's staying with us, dear."
"Of course! It is always good to have more young people," Enid said with a fond smile.

Must there be more old women?, Rodwell thought as he smiled at the woman, "Pleased to meet you, m'lady. This is my first time in the city."

"You will want to go exploring by yourself, I expect," Enid said, as the old women and Rodwell climbed into the big litter, which was then lifted by eight huge men and carried off. Their luggage followed in a cart. "But you may stay at my house."
"Enid lives very well," Mistress Ridcully said. "Her husband made sure she was taken care of when he died..."
"Oh hush, Amrei! That sort of talk is unkind," Enid said.
The litter was born from the port, to the city.

Rodwell nodded, "Thank you for the hospitality, again. This is my first time in the city", he repeated.

Reret Nekna was setting up a stand at the port where he sold rat poison. "Keep your ships and merchandise clean" was written in more languages than one. Several ships mainly trading food had allready bought a few crates.
