"Gods," Warren says, throwing himself back into one of the chairs scattered around the tent. He is quiet for another moment.
"Marriage... it's not a bad thing, Aerie. Elicia and Taria have already --" Warren stops, realizing his mistake. He closes his eyes for a second, then continues on. No need to bring up Taria right now, in the middle of this. "If you love this Seth Falgrave, I will give you my blessing."

Aerie blinked. That was it? "You would not be opposed to that? Do you think it would be wise. He was a Greyjoy, on top of being a friend to Barret Tyrell. In fact, it was Tyrell who gave Falgrave the land he now owns." Her stomach writhed violently at that, but she ignored it. "Considering all that, you have no qualms?"

Warren clenches his jaw. "You said he was a man of honor, didn't you? But perhaps you are right. Perhaps I should talk to this Lord Falgrave, man to man."

Aerie flinched. He was not giving her the answer she searched for. Was he upset that he could not marry her off to some lord to strengthen ties to another house? He had children of his own, though, so perhaps he felt he would have more females to his disposal. But Warren was not like that. She sighed, suddenly relieved.
"He is a man of honor," she assented, "and I'm glad you've taken this well. Father would have sent me back to the Riverlands and locked me up in Raventree." An old anger flared up within her. "I--I think I will do it then..." Just knowing the fact that such a marriage would drive her late father berserk gave her renewed vigor.

"I'm not father, Aerie," Warren says, his expression softening somewhat. "I wouldn't do that to you. But still -- let me speak with this Falgrave first. I'd like to take the measure of the the man who will be marrying my little sister."

And I'm glad you aren't. "If you must," she conceeded aimably, all smiles and grins now that the worst was over with. "Just don't scare him off too much."

Warren grins. "Only as much as I have to. He'll need to be tough if he's marrying a Blackwood."

A man clad in scarlet and black is reportedly waiting outside Warren's tent for admission.

Once Aerie has left, the guards admit the waiting man.
"And you are...?" Warren asks, eyeing the man's Blackwood colors.

"Did father never tell you of me?", Alexius says running a hand through his beard as he helps himself to a seat.

Warren studies the other man for a moment more, his brow creased in thought. Then:
"The bastard on the Bolling girl," Warren says. "Father didn't like to talk of you, out of respect for Mother. I'm afraid I can't recall your name. I'm Warren Blackwood."
Warren offers his hand, his demeanor lightening. Family was family, even if it was of the bastard sort.

"Alexius Blackwood", the visitor said, shaking Warren's hand firmly. "I was at father's funeral, though I did not have enough courage to talk to the rest of you." Alexius seems particularly earnest, though he gives the impression that he is rarely so serious.

"I see," Warren says. He smiles slightly. "And what has given you the courage to come talk to me now?"

"Time", Alexius says simply and then laughs. He crosses his legs, "But I have no interest in the public eye. I live in Blackhaven with my family, and my tutee, Lord Dondarrion."

Warren grins and pours ale for Alexius and himself. "Tutoring the Lord Dondarrion? It sounds like you've made quite a name for yourself in the Stormlands, Alexius. You and he will have to dine with me some time."
