Bumping up an old thread for no real reason other than not to have 2 conversations going at once in the chat. Do you guys think we need House words? I don't mean our unofficial motto, either. I always feel a little left out when someone mutters their words and I can't retort in the same fashion. At the same time anything we made up would probably be very corny unless it was very good.

But I like our unofficial motto... What's wrong with mutering "Shut your face bitch, Blackwoods don't cry" under your breath? On a more serious note, I kinda want one too, but yeah, it would have to be awesome to not suck. But we can still brainstorm. Any ideas?

I've been saying this ever since I got here. And it takes Horas to actually get the wheels rolling. Hmm... We are believers of the Old Gods We have a Weirwood and Raven in our Sigil So maybe something about the Old Gods, Weirwoods, or Ravens/ flying?

Yeah it does, Tytos, as mentioned in our other thread. We could overthow him if you want, though?
For the words, I say we just steal someone elses. No one will notice.
Hmm, I will think on it nevertheless.

The only ravenesque saying I can think of is "Dark wings, dark words," and that is both already a common Westerosi saying and overly pessimistic.
Otherwise... I'm blanking.

How about "On the Wings of the Night"?

I was thinking something wing-y too, and maybe creepy and mobid, like "death flies/descends/rests on dark wings" or something. Well, not like that precisely, but it's more to demonstrate the gist of how I'm thinking, I think. Haha.

"Death comes on Dark Wings" or "Death flies on Swift Wings"?

Those sound good... maybe a little too morbid? On the other hand, I like how our house words are basically a threat.

I like "Death comes on Dark Wings." Sounds very much like a threat.

"Death rides on dark wings" maybe? Haha, so whenever someone pisses us off, we can be like "bitch, death rides on dark wings," and I'll add them to my hitlist

I like "Death flies on Dark Wings" as opposed to comes or rides.
